"Have you ever danced?", Sam asks while looking at the gray boombox, setting the beautiful bouquet aside on her dresser. She knew that would trigger a memory, but she just wondered anyways.
"Once.", Bucky replied, startling Sam. He one time, while watching a few TV shows, remembered that he took a girl named...Connie, to a dance at some place. From then, he re-learned the technique and wanted to try it out with Sam.
"Do you remember with who?", she wondered, turning her gaze towards him. Asking, not because she was nosy, but because she was interested and amazed that he remembered something.
Bucky took a breath in and replied, "A girl named, uh...Connie, I think?"
She lightly chuckled and fit her small hands on his large ones. "Come on," Sam started. "It's time to go down memory lane."
Bucky smiled and snaked his metallic arm around her small waist and his real hand colliding with hers.
He looked down for a second, then back up at her; determined to dance better than what he remembered.
"James," Sam said, her eyes boring into his misty blue ones. "One step at a time." It came in an almost whisper.
He grinned and started miraculously doing the steps with Sam in a synchronized manner.
Their movements fitting along like puzzle pieces.
Sam put her hands one of his shoulders and they now began swaying to some really good song.
"Do you like this song?", she wondered, leaning her head on his free shoulder.
" Maybe." he replied quietly, then twirling her and catching her after.
Sam smiled, amazed at how good his dance skills were.
For one moment, their eyes completely locked and they realized how much love both needed.
The love both had accomplished.
Bucky stared into those green eyes that he had grown to love.
"But not as much as I like you."
With that, their lips smashed together and sparks flew higher than whatever humane possible.
Bucky pushed Sam to the bed, his metallic arm around her, scent of strawberries invading his sense of smell.
His hand found its way to the hem of her shirt and he stopped. He pulled away. Sam saw this and wanted to resist the urge of giggling.
"It's alright, Bucky.", she shot him one of those reassuring smiles.
He grinned, kissing her once more.

Sam heard knocking on the door and she quickly opened her eyes, only to see a shirtless Bucky, lightly snoring beside her—his real arm draped around her waist.
She had to keep herself from laughing at his sleeping state.
Knocking continued, preventing Sam from anymore observations.
She shook Bucky awake and he smiled, but then turning into a look of paranoia. His arm left her waist and she quickly missed the warmth of it.
"Someone's here, Buck.", she whispered and he nodded, his caution level going down a notch.
Sam stood up from the bed and turned her attention into finding something suitable other than sleepwear.
"Coming!", she shouted, even though whoever was knocking couldn't hear.
Her small, bare feet, carried her to the living room and into the front door's direction.
Before another knock could be heard, Sam opened the door to find a very beautiful woman with strawberry-blonde hair, that was pulled in a perfect ponytail.
"Hello! Sorry if there were any interruptions, but anyhow ,my name is Pepper Potts."
