The Best Year

Chapter 2

"What's wrong babe" he said like he did nothing.

"You left me in there" I said motioning to the movie theater still crying.

"Oh sorry long line" he said.

"Really all right when I passed by the bathroom and there wasn't a line" I said.

"Yeah, you know my ex Bella well she was here and we started talking. I'm so sorry babe" he said.

"Don't call me babe, Ben was right you are a jerk" I said walking away.

I went outside and started walking home which was 30 miles away. then Ben drives up and picks me up.

We didn't talk the whole way to his house. When we get there he makes me some coffee. We sit on the coach and I start to cry. Ben comes closer to me and hugs me.

"You were right" I said crying.

"It's okay you just thought he was the perfect guy but he wasn't" he said.

"I'm so stupid" I said.

"No he's the stupid one. He leaves the best girl in the world and any guy on this earth would be lucky to have you" he said while whipping away my tears.

"Thanks" I said while smiling.

He brushed my hair back and put his hand on my cheek then kissed me.
