Chapter 14

I sat there stunned, Ben has never liked Luke and now he's okay with him staying with us.

"That's okay with me if its okay with you Zoe" the police officer said.

"Yeah it's okay" I said not thinking.

"He will be yours tomorrow, you just have to sign these papers" he said while handing us the papers.

Ben signed the papers then I did, because we don't live together we decided he was staying at my house and Ben is staying to.

We walked back to my house and just sat there for a minute.

"Are you mad at me" Ben asked.

"No, why would I be mad" I asked.

"Because I said Luke could stay here" he said.

"I was surprised but I think that what you did was very nice of you" I said walking over and sitting down beside him.

"I love you" he said then kissed my forehead.

"I love you too" I said back then he leaned in and kissed me on the lips.

We sat there kissing and exchanging I love you'd back and forth then my phone rang.

"Hello" I said.

"Hi Zoe its Avery" she said.

"What do you need" I asked.

"Just wanted to see if you wanted to go to a movie tomorrow night" she said.

I looked at Ben and he shook his head yes.

"Yeah why time" I asked.

"7:00 meet me at the mall at 6:30" she said.

"Okay bye" I said.

"Bye" she said then hung up the phone.

"Are you going to be okay alone with Luke" I asked.

"Yes don't worry" he said.

"Okay" I said "I'm tired lets go to bed".

"Me too" he said.

We both laid down on the couch and snuggled up together.

"Good night, I love you" Ben said.

"Love you too" I said.

I closed my eyes then drifted of to sleep.
