The Best Year

Chapter 4

Luke put his arm around me and started to kiss me.

"What are you doing?" I asked him while I was moving his arm.

"Walking with you babe" he said trying to put his arm around me while I moved.

"You kinda ditched me at the movie theater for your old girlfriend now you want to call me babe and put your arm around me" I said while trying to walk faster so he can't catch up.

"I love you babe. I lost track of time when I was talking to Bella" he said walking faster to catch up with me.

"You lost your chance I think I have feelings for Ben now" I said while remembering the kiss.

"Fine then" he said while walking away.

I ran home so he couldn't catch me again. When I get home my friend Avery is sitting on the coach waiting for me.

"I heard about you and Luke, I'm so sorry" she said while hugging me.

"Don't be I'm okay. After he ditched me Ben picked me up and we went to his house and" she cut me off with a squeal.

"You kissed him, finally" she said with a smile.

"What do you mean by finally?" I asked.

"You guys have always liked each other you could tell." she said.

"Really" I said smiling.

"So did you guys pull an all nighter like we used to?" She asked.

"Yes just like old times" I said remembering last night.

"Okay well you want to go get lunch?" she asked.

"Yeah" I said walking to the door.

We left to eat lunch at are favorite spot when Ben walks over to eat lunch with us.

He sat down beside me and started to eat. After he was done eating he held my hand.

"Look at the two love birds" Avery said.

"Yeah I guess we are a couple now" Ben said with a smile.

"I guess we are" I said smiling back.

Then he leaned over and kissed me just like the last time, perfect.
