Chapter 11

I wake up the next morning and walk home. I get home and my phone goes off.

"Hello" I say answering the phone.

"Hi it's Avery, meat me around the corner" she said.

"Why" I asked.

"Just come" she said then hung up.

I walk around the corner and see her waiting by a stop sign.

"Hey what's wrong" I asked while we start walking.

"Nothing, I haven't seen you forever" she said.

"Sorry I've been hanging out with Ben" I said.

"No it's okay your in love" she said with a smile.

"I don't know if you can call it that" I said while my cheeks were turning red.

"Zoe is in love with Ben" she screamed.

"Maybe, I don't know" I said.

"Your in love" she said.

"I love him Avery, I've never loved anyone like him be-" as I was talking I look over to see Ben sitting down with another girl.

"What" Avery asked.

I walk over to a table beside Ben and sit down with Avery. Ben looks over at us and turns red.

"Hey funny seeing you here" I say pulling my chair over to his table.

"Hi Zoe" he said.

"Okay well I should get going" I said while getting up.

Ben runs to catch up with me and grabs my arm.

"What" I said while turning around.

"Zoe it's not what it looks like" he said while trying to walk with me.

"Okay then what is it" I ask.

"Zoe it's my cousin" he said.

I stood there embarrassed. I doubted my boyfriend now he hates me.

"I'm sorry, I should go home" I said while trying to walk away but I get stopped by Ben.

"I love you Zoe, I would never do that" he said while giving me a hug.

"I love you too" I said while hugging him back.

"Awww" Avery says "you guys are so cute".
