How could I be so stupid?

"April stop!" I heard Ashton behind me, it's stupid to run away from him, he'll get to me really fast

"I want you far away from me!" I turn to look at him and yelled at him, my eyes with tears

"Could you let me explain!" He looked irritated

"I don't want your explanation! It's my fault I shouldn't have let this happen"

"Let what happen exactly? Because we're not something" he said loudly and my heart just broke a little bit more. It was late, I already really liked him, stupid April "if your annoyed by that kiss I don't get it because you're the one who put us as friends and I can kiss anyone I want if I'm not with someone truly" that's true

"It's...I...I'm mad because kissing her messed up everything, my security and your plan too" I lied, I didn't care about that but seeing he doesn't like me back I couldn't tell him the truth. That I was hurt because he kissed that girl

"It's not messed up, Desmond sent her to kiss me to see how I was going to react, to see if it was true between us" he walked closer to where I was so he could stop talking so loudly "when I immediately pushed her away she told me she was sorry and it was Desmond's instruction, I went to him and warned him to never do that again, I had a girlfriend, a fake one but he doesn't know that, he nodded and told me that he now believed I truly wanted you because I never refused anyone in the past, and now I did" he got closer "so you don't have the right to be mad at me I pushed her, I made him believe us"

I took off my mask harshly and he did the same

"I don't care just leave me alone" I crossed my arms

"Are you serious? You're mad at me still?" He asked in disbelief

"I am" I lied I am mad at myself for feeling what I feel and that it isn't returned

"You're so...so..." he was passing his hand through his hair desperately, he was irritated

"So what? Dumb? Stupid?" I glare at him

"So confusing!" He was glaring at me too

"I don't care!" I yelled back

"Why did it affected you that much the idea of me kissing someone else?" He question me

"It didn't"

"Really? That's why you're crying?" He clicked his tongue and shook his head "tell me the real reason"

"I already told you! I don't know what else are you expecting"

"The truth" he said exasperated

"You want to know the truth Ashton? Fine I'll tell you the truth" I walk one step towards him "I hate you!"

He got even angrier

"You hate me?"

"I do"

"That's your explanation?"

"It is, take it or leave it"

"And why do you hate me?" He asked angry and took one step closer

"Because What?!" He licked his lips
