This is a double update, make sure you read chapter 27 first!

NO PERSPECTIVE

After escaping his father when the girl helped him to get out, he was trying to recover, and the housekeeper was helping him clean the bruises and cuts the dad left to the little kid

'I'm ashamed, I don't want Iris to see that I cried, I have to be like iron man. No I can't be iron man, she said I should be something original' the little boy was thinking

He was walking to his room and stopped when he saw the beautiful girl that stole his heart in a white dress crying on the floor

His heart stopped, he felt emotions he couldn't describe

Is it anger?

Fear?

Heartbreak?

Hate?

He doesn't know but he doesn't like any of the emotions that he's feeling. For the first time he feels like he could kill, he could kill the person that made this to this little angel

He hurriedly went to her, without caring if he was ashamed anymore of her seeing him crying. He knelt down to be at her level, putting his hand on her cheeks and making her gaze meet his

"Iris what happened?" He asked completely worried

She looked broken, scared, sad, ashamed that he saw her crying, she has to be strong

"Oh it's nothing, I'm sorry" she tried to fake a smile but that didn't work, he knows her, even if they practically just met, he knows her, how? He doesn't know exactly but he can feel it, maybe they new each other before, maybe in another life...

"Don't lie to me, I know you're not okay" he looked at her with tenderness

And she also felt it, she feels something so familiar with him, why? She doesn't know it either, but she feels safe in his arms, and now she realizes that whenever he touched her, she feels like her skin was burning, but in a good way, and he feels the same

"I'm leaving now, but I don't want to go" she started crying even more "I don't want to go with that monster!" She cried and cried, and now the boy sat around her and put her in his arms, hugging her, comforting her. And she hold onto him like her life depended on it

"Who's the monster?" The little boy asked her concerned

She wanted to scream at him

My dad, can't you see it

But that can put her in more danger

"Don't ever leave me please" The girl told him and he realized he was about to make a promise

"Never, even if you have to go now, I'll found you again, I swear" he hold her hand and squeeze it gently and she squeeze his hand too, it was their gesture of reassurance that they'll be for each other, that they had a promise to find each other again

She finally started to calm down in his arms and after a while of being like that she started whispering something in his ear

"I know what your name is" the boy was surprised, she knows his name is Ashton?

"What?" He asked her confused

"Your name between us, you couldn't came with an original one, so I decided one for you" she said, and now the boy knew that she didn't knew his real name

But wait, she chose a name for him? She?

"What is it?" He waited for the answer excited, he hopes that she chose something amazing like, iron man, Thor or something like that

"Odin" she told him

"O- What?" He is confused, why that horrible name? Doesn't she love him too?

"Odin" she smiled at him and now got out of his hold and stand up "I have to go now or there can be consequences" she sighed "but remember you promised to come and find me again"

The little boy was really sad that she was already leaving, but she's right he was going to see her again no matter what

"I will found you again" he nodded and then she hugged him, and his heart skipped a beat

"I'll be waiting for you Odin" she kissed his cheek and started walking away from him

That kiss, even though it was in the cheek, it made his heart go crazy, he never felt that before

"au revoir pour maintenant,ange" He whispered under his breath

And with that he swore that he wouldn't let anyone to even touch a hair of hers, and for that he had to found her again someday

And he will, because she is the only person he can stand, who makes him doubt everything that he thought he knew, who makes him feel free, who makes him feel cared, who makes him feel loved. But mostly

Time had passed and he was bored in his room again waiting for, Well nothing exactly, the loneliness is here again after she left, he could only wait for his dad to come and teach him a lesson or wait to eat or being beaten by his father

There wasn't much to do

But he spend time daydreaming about Iris, and he remembered the meaning of her name

Wait, She liked to read, that's how she got that name

What does Odin means? She must have read that too

He quickly went to a private library they had in his house, he never went there before but it was because he wasn't interested in reading, well, that until her

He spent hours searching for books, he didn't know about this whole reading thing

And he finally found a book in which the word or name Odin was explained

"Norse god of magic, wisdom and war" that's the meaning of Odin, the boy was astonished

"She thinks I am magic? Wisdom? War? A god?!?" He was so happy, so happy to know she thought all that of him, he's magic into someone's eyes

And with that he started reading, because it reminds him of her, and he actually loved it

And now the library became his own cave
