Chapter 2- The Change

Ten years have passed since the incident. I'm 18 now but I still can't forget about that day. The lights the loud explosions and mostly – my dead parents. Since that day I promised myself that I'm going to find Deidara and kill him. My hatred turned into motivation to train harder and harder every day. I become stronger, maybe even the strongest in the village. No one could beat me, but that's not the point. I was also researching on the Akatsuki all these years. I learnt everything I need to know for them. I was reading a paper for the Akatsuki as Naruto came to my room.

- Hey, Y/n! – he waved at me – So, you know the Chunin Exams are close, right?

- Yes, what about them? – I asked him. The Exams were actually after a few days but I wasn't anxious about it. I know I don't have rivals, stronger than me.

- Lady Tsunade said that this year is going to be... let's say different. – Naruto was trying to avoid eye contact with me – Some of the Akatsuki members are signet too. And there is no law that doesn't allow them that. We can't practically catch them and lock them in jail this time.

My eyes widened. How can they dare? Why we don't have a law for that?

-  And do you know which members are joining the Chunin Exams? – My tone was low. I was trying to stay calm. 

- We can't know for sure. We will see, when they come. – Naruto said and he left the room.

I was trembling but from hatred. I wasn't afraid for sure. As years passed, I forgot what fear is. I guess I have to wait till the day of the Exams come.

Time skip: the day of the Chunin Exams

Here we are. The day finally comes. I was waiting with Naruto and Lee to go into the seats and wait for our turn. People were still signing and coming until the hole place was full. I was scanning the place for some Akatsuki robes but I couldn't find any of them. Maybe they got afraid and changed their minds.

The first battle was between Neij and Lee. Lee left his seat and we wished him luck. The battle area was round, the seats were surrounding over the battle area. The sits were full with people watching the fights.

Soon my turn come too. I went down to get prepared. No one told me who I am fighting which was strange because everyone knew with who are they going to fight. If I only have the chance to face against some of the Akatsuki. I know that I am not allowed to kill the enemy but still...

I went to the battle area, where my opponent was already waiting me.

Maybe I shouldn't even come here. No. I promised myself. He's going to pay for what he did...

I was trembling from anger as I watched my opponent. My eyes were full with furiousness. I even think that I growled. For a moment I was again in the kitchen with my parents, in the other moment they were dead. Deidara watching them. Sasori insulting me. Deidara leaving me like a trash...

And now he is standing in front of me...
