Chapter 16- Making friends and enemies

Y/n's pov:

Two weeks passed since the accident. Pain said that I'm ready to be sent on another mission, but I'm always stressed when I'm talking to him, because of our little talk in his office. Deidara is kind with me, which is strange of him, I mean, he is always acting like a jerk, especially when I'm with Itachi, who acts strange too! I guess boys are boys and I won't understand them, but I'm not complaining, yeah. These two weeks were harsh, really really harsh from all these trainings. There was only one main thing in my mind- Pain's words about Sasuke. I know he just doesn't know about the cursed seal, because I'm not as weak as he thing. In fact, I'm scared of how powerful I can be, what if I hurt someone of them with it? I can't train these abilities by myself, because if I do, I'm risking everyone's life, if I blow the whole forest with our hideout, or I won't be able to come back to my normal me. That's why this jerk is always next to me when I train, so he can keep everything under control.

- Deidara! Watch out! – We are now training in my secret spot in the forest, I found this loser spying over me as I was relaxing on the grass and I'm kind of inviting him here with me.

- Shoot, un! Don't look at me I'm all fine, yeah! – We were limited by supplies so we had to create something for training, I don't mind if I just shoot at him, but he is on another opinion. He made some clay shield, keeping him safe as I'm trying to shoot in the middle of the shield when Deidara is running like an idiot.

- If you run as a normal person, not like a burned chicken!

- I literally am burning, because you couldn't hit the target! – his robe was really burning, but he was trying to put out the fire as he is running, allowing me to not stop shooting.

- Sorry, I guess. – I laugh at him as he finally put out the flames on his robe which took a few inches of the edge of his robe with him

- You need a break! We, I mean, you are training for two whole weeks, all day every day! – he was exhausted too, I think it was selfish of me to keep him up, when I was the one who needs training.

- Yeah, you are right, let's call it a day and return home. – he hid the shield somewhere, we couldn't return home with it.

These two weeks were a complete failure if you ask me. I was trying to master the fire techniques but all I did is to burn a whole tree and a scared squirrel. I couldn't hit the target, I barely was even hitting the shield, Deidara was taking most of the blows. At least I learned I don't need to be furious to unlock it, just angry, for now. Deidara was talking shits on whole different level just to make me angry for the trainings, for no one's surprise it worked, he is a jerk after all. We didn't even try to use the rinnegan eyes, both of us didn't had the slightest idea how they work or how to train them, so we skipped this part. After all, I was thankful to him for keeping his promises, and even more- to help me train! Even without excellent results, training was training and it was still something. I hope he knows how thankful I am to him, because I won't even try to tell him.

When we finally got home, I went to my room to take a shower and do all the stuffs I had to do, but not too late Itachi came to my room, he said that Pain was calling me and then he left. I really hoped Pain is calling me for a mission, because I'm training so hard for a reason, and I don't want to just sit and don't do anything?

- You were calling me. – I was already in his office, Pain was fixing a bunch of new files on his desk

- Pack your bags, you are going on a mission tomorrow night. With Kisame and Itachi this time. – he wasn't looking at me but tidying his files.

- Is that all, won't you give me any files about the mission?

- I think you know pretty enough, after all, I'm sending you already on a third mission to Orochimaru's hideout. – "Damn it. Why it should be always those snakes"

- What is different this time? – I was feeling like filling the flames with oil.

- Kakuzu caught a guy who had bought Orochimaru's chakra on the black marker. We think that he is not only using it for turning people into monsters, but to build finances with it by selling it. Kakuzu said it was expensive and it was selling in little amounts. Before a few days Kakuzu said that the seller isn't Orochimaru himself, but his assistant – Kabuto. I want you to spy over them, find Kabuto and make him talk. I need more details about this whole chakra selling and everything suspicious over them. But there is one unanswered question. – Pain turned to look into my eyes. – Will you be able to success this mission?

- No need to ask me, I've been training so hard for this.

- Nice then, you are dismissed. – I headed to exit the office when I finally said

- I won't disappoint you this time, Leader. – I saw him slightly smiling before I closed the door.

I was thinking about the mission, and mostly- all possible situations that would happen and how to solve them. Sharpening all my knives, this time I'm taking them all, and one extra robe for the mark. Some nerves calming pills, actually a lot of nerves calming pills. Some medicines, some food and we are done. This time my back was heavier than before, but I trained my arms a lot too, so I won't mind

- Hey little one, getting ready huh. – Kisame showed his head trough the door, scaring me a little bit.

- Yeah, and I'm ready! What about you and Itachi? – I was running trough my untidy room the whole day trying to find everything I will need on the mission, so it was already noon, and after a few minutes we will go.

- We are ready too, we're going to wait for you outside. Pain won't escort us this time, so we won't need to wait for him.

- Ok, I'm coming in five minutes, see you then! – Kisame left and soon I was with my back on my shoulder, ready to go.

I was ready so I went outside just to see Itachi and Kisame who was ready too.

- Shall we go? – Itachi said trough his robe, leading us to the black market.

The black market was crowded in the night time. Criminals, mostly murderers, robbers and all sort of awful people were gathering here to sell and buy, all kinds of illegal things, from poisoned kunai knives, to organs and even full corpses like Kakuzu does. We were wearing our robes and our hats so our faces couldn't be seen. People were dashing at me, some were trying to rob me, only taking one big punch in the face, others were trying to sell me their stocks. I guess Kabuto's shop would be in some corner, where the most expensive illegal things were selling. Itachi and Kisame was walking on my both sides, trying to keep me safe from the perverts who were surrounding us.

- We are close. You two stay in the shadows and keep people's eyes away from us, I will put Kabuto in one of my genjutsu and then we will take him away from here where no one can find us.

- Right! – we both nodded with Kisame, leaving Itachi a few steps far from us.

Soon we were in the end of the black market, where the things were getting different. I was only listening to Kakuzu talking about money and what it is to be on the black market, but being actually here is a different thing. Here are the most dangerous guys you can find, caring only for money, ready to kill even themselves for a decent amount of money. The air wasn't enough for me, Kisame noticed my mini panic attack and put his arm on my shoulder, showing me that he is here and he will protect me. But little did he know I don't need anyone protection, I am the one who would protect them, able to burn this whole place, every single shop, every single stock, all buyers and sellers, even my comrades. The thought of seeing everything in ashes made me even more stressed.

- Here. Stay quiet. – Kisame showed me Itachi who was whispering something to a guy, which was Kabuto. Kabuto wasn't looking that calm as always, I was wondering what is Itachi saying to him. Soon, a crow got out of his oversized sleeve and got on Kabuto's shoulder, Itachi grabbed him tightly for the arm and took him out of the market, leading him to the woods. We were walking behind them, waiting for Itachi's sign.
