Chapter 19 - Burning heart

- Keep up, Y/n! I can't believe this is as far as you can go! – The next morning came as a gift. Yesterday night Deidara asked me about the talk with Pain, I skipped to him a few details, but then he left, content that I'm going to die, I think. He is a big liar for sure, he used to say to me that he's going to kill me, that I'm an idiot and I shouldn't be here, then he is acting up like I'm the only thing that matters to him. It's only a matter of time to see which one is the lie.

So, yeah. Basically, we are training under our hideout, it came out we have a secret level, for which everyone knew except me. Pain brought us here, because everything is from metal, and I can't burn it out. He made me use the fire in different ways, like fire balls, fire like a funnel and the hardest one – fire wall.

- Keep it up! Higher! – He yelled behind me, as I was trying to keep the fall still and higher, trying to reach the top. It was exhausting, I can say that. My trainings with Deidara look like warming up in front of this. – Yes, just like that! Try even higher! – The fire wall was so close to the top, I pushed it with my last energy to reach the top. Once it did, I made it disappear as ashes, something that Pain taught me too. I didn't have enough chakra to even stay on my feet so I just laid on the floor, looking at Pain who was really proud of what he saw.

- Take a break for a few minutes, after this I will try to teach you how to use different elements like water. It's the easier one, so it can be in a big use.

- Hold up! That's too much for just one day! I had never used my chakra like this! I only used it for my knives sometimes, but I always depended on my good fight techniques and my fast reflexes.

- I know, I didn't think you can master all these things in just a few hours, I'm really surprised, but still, you don't know how to control it, fully. And you need to know how rinnegan works too.

-Ugh, let's continue, I don't need more breaks. – I jumped up, ready for the new things. This continues till the day ended and the moon rose, trough the little refractory glass in the corner of the roof.

I was really tired, completely drained that just before we ended our training for the day, everything got black and I fainted. Good that Pain was fast and caught me, he took me on his shoulder and we got back home.

Deidara's pov:

She has been training the whole day, yeah. She really is tough isn't she. That's only making me wanting to surpass her even more. I was training too, trying new clay models, hardening the clay even more, so she can't burn it up. I was waiting for her to return, in the living room, where everyone was. Itachi was acting cocky since Kisame... yeah. He is probably mad at her, I guess if someone kills Sasori I would e annoyed too. But he was the one who was close to her, even more than me, so he should understand her.

As I was thinking about it, the door opened and Pain, carrying... carrying Y/n?

- Wait! Is she dead? – Hidan yelled from the sofa

- No, she is just tired, I want one of you to leave her at her room. Not you, Hidan.

- You always think she is dead! – Toby yelled with a childish tone from his seat, looking directly at Y/n.

-I will take her, un. – I came to Pain, taking Y/n in my hands.

- Ohh Deidara senpai! Toby thinks you like Y/n!! – Toby ran around me like and idiot, which he was, un.

-Um, no! Why would I! I hate her, yeah, and she hates me too! We are opponents, yeah. – I tried to hide the redness on my face. I went to her room, carrying Y/n in my hands, once I got to her room I opened the door with my kick, which made her woke up a little.
