As y/n got home their mother called for them to come into the kitchen, as y/n entered the kitchen they noticed how gloomy their mother looked
"Mom? What happend?"
"Y-y/n... xingqiu... he's ... hes .. dead."
As y/n eyes widened . First Chongyun. Now xingqiu.. your best friends, both dead .
"H-huh.?"
As y/n collaps on the floor on their knees and start to break down
"no no no no no no no no no no no no no nononononononononono... this CAnt be happening. This must be a joke... right..?MOM PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A JOKE I BEG YOU"
"I'm sorry y/n... it isn't . He was found dead with multiple stab wounds in his chest and his back , it seems that he was killed about a day or 2 ago while his parents were on a business trip..He was so young..."
As y/n looked at their mom shocked she remembered that the last time they saw xingqiu was after they left his house around 11 pm.. if they stayed would they also be dead or.. would xingqiu be alive..? As y/n stood up they quickly ran upstairs and shut the door to their room, as they closed the door they heard the bell to their house go off and they could hear someone's voice downstairs, then she heard someone going up the stairs and then the person opened the door to reveal Childe.. as y/n looked at Childe while still crying , Childe looks at y/n worried and quickly hugs her and strokes her hair
"I heard what happened... it's okay, everything is gonna be fine, shhh" As y/n started to breakdown while hugging Childe , they screamed , cried it was a heart breaking scene to watch... soon enough y/n fell asleep while hugging Childe , Childe noticed and gave y/n a small peck on the forehead while carrying them to their bed and putting them down in it , Childe then layed down next to y/n and then also fell asleep ..

As y/n woke up they couldn't even sit up, they felt so num, as if someone stabbed then multiple times , y/n didn't feel anyone next to them but they did see a note next to their bed it said
" good morning y/n :) , I hope you feel better, again I am sos prey for the lost of your best friend, he was so young and had such a long life before him.. but again take care I had to go do some family business so see ya at school on Monday!!" -Childe
As y/n read the part so young they started to cry again , they still couldn't believe it. Their brother like best friend died and now their only best friend died .. they felt so miserable. Why did they choose to murder him. Was there a reason . Would they be able to save him if they wouldn't have left that day and instead had a sleepover? ...
