Shinzo opened up her eyes and found herself in her own bedroom, how did she reach this place was foreign to her.Last thing she remembered was being slashed by that monk with stitches on his forehead.
Then she crawled a bit towards the stairs that led up to the surface and then she probably passed out.
This all felt very much like a fever dream, she remembered a deep voice shouting for her and a rough hand squeezing her own. Yes, definitely a fever dream.
What she hoped was a dream was what happened in that school, she couldn't even bring herself to pronounce his name.
She stood up abruptly and then she flinched. Ugh, her side still hurt, fucking patchwork and fucking fake monk.
The necromancer then wobbled to the door and opened it, finding two arguing teen and an adult.
Gojo, Nobara and Fushiguro, the latter two were chewing Gojo out about something, then they all noticed her standing right outside of the door.
"Shinzo-chan~ you're awakeee!" Gojo launched himself at the raven haired necromancer, who just stepped to the side and avoided him making him crush onto the wall, but he really didn't hit it anyways.
"Shinzo! You made us worry so much!" this time the one launching at her was Nobara and she promptly accepted the hug rubbing her back.
"Kurosaki, how's your wound?" Fushiguro looked worried while scratching the back of his neck.
"I'm fine. For how many days I've been passed out?" her wound was surprisingly cauterised though it still hurt a bit, maybe she'd been passed out for a really long time and her wound had the proper time to heal.
"A whole evening!" Gojo chimed in having recovered from the rejection.
"An- an evening?" she repeated dumbly, it was impossible that only such a small time had passed.
"Yup! I think it's amazing how your wound was healed, whoever did that does really have a good grasp on reversed technique." Gojo being impressed by someone was something to be shocked of.
"Then who healed me? I want to thank them." she was really curious after all this someone just saved her life.
"No idea." the white haired man shrugged and her face fell.
"What do you mean?" How the heck did he not know anything about it.
"Nanami found you passed out in the sewers severely wounded, but someone already stopped the bleeding..."
"...which reminds me, who did this to you?" the white haired man inquired while scrutinising the necromancer through his pitch black sunglasses.
"I was chasing patchwork face and then this black haired man wearing monk clothing came and this happened." she purposely left out the part where the man asked her to join them and mentioned her cursed soul.
Gojo's whole body stiffened and his expression became grim.
"A black haired man wearing monk clothing?"
"Yeah, what about it?" she scratched the back of her head, did he know him?
She had no time to reflect about it because the man grabbed her by the arm and dragged her out of the building, leaving Nobara and Megumi with a confused expression.
"What the heck?! Calm yourself down Gojo." she broke free from his grasp and held her side once again.
"You saw him?!" he looked nothing like he usually did, he looked like someone who had finally lost it.
"Who?"
"You said you saw a man with black hair and wearing monk clothing, what was his name?" he tried to regain a level headed tone of voice, but his shaking hands betrayed him.
"I think that the rat called him Geto." after she said those words, only the sound of the rain could be heard.
"You saw his ghost, right?" he asked with a breathy voice.
"Nuh uh, I'm positive he was corporeal." she said pointing at her bandaged side.
"It can't be..." he breathed out, she'd never seen him like this.
"... you must be crazy, there's no way you saw him." he tried to joke and shake the whole situation off of him.
Shinzo had no idea what this man got going on with the monk bitch, but she wasn't feeling like putting up with Gojo's mental breakdown while she had her own to take care of.
"Listen here, I'm going to repeat it only once again, he was corporeal, in the flesh, he had a living body." she made very clear what happened in those sewers.
"I don't know what you've got going on with this man, but you have to sort it out because he is positively alive and murderous." she concluded looking at him for any kind of response.
"Sounds like him." he snorted.
He just had a full mental breakdown and now he was snorting about this shit, this for sure wasn't a healthy cooping mechanism.
However she shouldn't be the one to be talking about this topic since she was a mess right now.
"Are you...are you okay?" she tried questioning her supposed teacher.
"Yes, why wouldn't I be?" he looked at her like he didn't know what she was referring to.
"You know the whole ordeal that happened just a MINUTE ago, made me think you were not okay, but I'm apparently wrong." she argued looking at him with scrutinising eyes.
"I'm fine, I was just...surprised." he decided to settle on that, yes that was just it.
He wasn't absolutely freaked out by the fact that his best friend, who he personally killed not even one year ago, was in fact alive and well.
Now he kinda got how Megumi and Nobara were gonna feel about Yuuji-kun being alive. Karma is a bitch.
"Alright...since you say you're fine, I'm going to sort out a few things." she gave him a worried look and exited the door.
Once she exited the room, his mind started to race a mile a hour, why-how was he alive.
He was sure he ended him, he left his body for those half curses to pick up, they became his new family so they deserved to give him a proper burial.
What the heck happened?
