This thing had such a sturdy skin, that she barely did a scratch. She charged repeatedly at this curse who she just learned was named Hanami.
Shinzo had lost the count of how many times she'd been hurled to the other side of the field and how many times those roots hit her in her stomach.
It was a miracle that she was still alive, this special grade was fast, sturdy and wasn't stupid ...Shinzo on the contrary was tired and those adjectives didn't apply to her.
She charged once again raising her wakizashi putting all herself into that one blow, but when the blade made contact with Hanami's skin, it broke, just like that.
There was a big gush into Hanami's skin however...she was left open to the enemy's next blow. Once she realised it she tried to retaliate trying to use her shadow as a shield, but she needed far more concentration than what she had now.
A vine whipped her back so painfully that she yelped in pain, it hit her right were the scar tissue was at.
Then the same vine found its way around her ankle and before she could realise it she was hurled against a tree.
The impact knocked the air right outside of her and gasped for air, however she couldn't afford to loose time.
She wobbled to her feet and saw Hanami stop right in front of her.
"Stop it necromancer, you'll get yourself killed." this time Hanami's words made sense in her head then the cursed spirit began walking away from her.
Why did she spare her?
Forget that, the special grade was heading somewhere else to go and attack her allies and probably had something to do with Itadori. It always had to something with that boy.
She wasn't about to allow this anytime soon.
There was one single thing she hadn't tried up until now, since she was very sure that it was going to be a failure.
"You aren't going anywhere." Shinzo spoke up through gritted teeth and grasped Hanami's shadow with her own hands.
She looked like she was trying to pull a thousand of auto train, after all she was trying to pull Hanami, who didn't only have a very imposing frame, but also a strong soul.
Tears from pain descended from Shinzo's eyes while clenching her jaw and digging her nails in the palm of her hands, her knuckles turning white.
This was fine, at least she managed to keep her trapped, she just had to endure it and wait for help...then a tug, another and another one.
Hanami was slowly advancing towards her previously intended direction.
"God damn it, stay still!" the strain made blood pour out of her nose while she tried to pull into Hanami's opposite direction, but she was inevitably loosing ground.
Her strength was fading and Hanami's was growing, but she wouldn't give up, she couldn't .
"Blast away!" those words echoed through the forest and luckily Shinzo's ears were protected by cursed energy.
