As Shinzo entered the building after her brief talk with Gojo, she let out a sigh.

What happened to Junpei's body?

She still had to come to terms with that, and she wasn't going to accept his death so easily.

It was all her fault, if only she'd told him earlier about her true job, if only she'd come to see him that night with Itadori, if only she'd listened to Nanami.

She killed him and there was no going around it, she will have to live with the weight of this sin until she died.

Maybe even after death.

Shinzo decided that she needed to attend Nagi-san and Junpei's funeral. It was the least she could do for them.

Pale fingers went to grab her phone to give Nanami a call.

"Hello Kurosaki-san, you're already awake?"he calmly answered.

"Yes, looks like someone's good at healing." she sighed and then let out a weak chuckle.

"Then you should reach us, we're about to close Yoshino Junpei's ashes." those words made her flinch, this in fact was not a dream and his death was very much real.

"Sure, where at?" she curtly answered.

"In the obituary down stairs, I'm with Itadori-kun."

"I'm on my way there, see you." she hanged up and remained still for a few seconds.

Oh boy, time to make her soul hurt even more, was she even going to be able to withstand the sight?

Once she reached the place she froze up before the door.
However someone else opened it for her, making her fly inside the room, she fell on top of the one who opened the door.

It happened to be Itadori.

"Remove yourself from her brat!" yes, definitely him, since Sukuna was already cussing.

"She's the one that fell on me! And give me a second geez!" Itadori muttered as he scrambled away from her.

She removed herself from that position and lightly chuckled.

"Looks like someone here didn't have his full 8 hour sleep." she teased adding fire to Sukuna's grumpy attitude.

He was usually annoyed by everything, but this even for him was a step forward. Meaning he was having a bad day.

"If you continue talking I'm gonna slash your throat." he replied grumpily, she could almost see his expression, scoffing and turning his head to the side.

"Yeah sure, have a nice day mister." Shinzo answered nonchalantly.

Would Sukuna's tone make everyone piss their pants? Yes.

Did he mean that? Maybe.

Did she have a sense of self preservation? No.

"Why you-" Itadori slapped a hand on his cheek, effectively making the curse shut up, but then reappeared on his hand.

"You-" Itadori once again slapped his hand, stopping Sukuna.

"Will-" again the mouth reappeared on the boy's other hand.

"Be the first-" another slap by Itadori's part.

"I'm gonna-" she was kinda enjoying this, it was funny at least.

"Don't you ever shut up?!" Itadori definitely suppressed Sukuna's influence, leaving his sentence unfinished.

Nanami, who sighted the whole ordeal, sighed behind them and headed towards the two.
