Once Nanami hanged up, Sukuna was already up and ready to go murder some bitches."You are not coming with that attitude." Nanami spoke up with a flat a tone, making the king fume harder.
"Listen up, you useless sorcerer, I'm in a really bad mood and the only reason I still haven't killed you is because the brat's holding me back." the demon gradually rose his voice.
"He's really putting a conscious effort into stopping me, so it would be thoughtful of you to not anger me any further." he picked at his nails and stalked towards the door, opening it for the blond sorcerer.
"After you." he smiled tightly and watched the sorcerer hesitate.
"Please Nanamin, it's like holding back an elephant, maybe two." the boy managed to say.
Itadori had never seen Sukuna act up like this, sure he was easy to displease, but not to anger. He always held this aura of collection around himself and even if something didn't go by his plans, he would dismiss it it with a dignified displeased sigh and maybe some casual killing.
"Alright, let's go get the car." Nanami finally announced and the two in one deal followed suit.
Once they entered the car, everything was awfully silent and tense, sometimes the silence would be broken by Itadori trying to make some small talk or tension breaking joke.
"Why did he even bring her out with him?" Sukuna suddenly muttered, looking genuinely curious.
"It's Satoru's way to demonstrate that he cares." Nanami answered pinching the bridge of his nose with one hand as the other steered the wheel.
"Huh? Why would he even need to demonstrate that?" the cursed spirit cocked an eyebrow.
"I don't know if you've noticed, but in the last few days Kurosaki was totally out of it. She didn't go out her bedroom, not even when Zen'in Maki or Kugisaki tried to bribe her with some 'therapeutic' shopping." Nanami had been around Jujutsu Tech for the last few days and even him noticed her odd behaviour.
The raven haired sorcerer usually was always quick witted, with a sassy comeback and a bit annoying.
However during the last few days, she ironically looked like a ghost, during training she would always end up on the ground or zoning out of it.
"No, I didn't notice anything..." he answered rubbing his chin.
"...and it's not my place to go and worry about her stupid human feelings." he scoffed and looked outside the window.
The only thing that Nanami could think now was that he was an incoherent because only a few minutes ago, he'd been throwing a fit because "she got drunk only god knows where".
However he didn't say anything since he didn't have a death wish, but apparently Itadori did.
"But you are worried about her..." Nanami chocked on this single sentence, this car was going to explode.
However no angry answer came, only a grumpy grunt of acknowledgement.
Once they arrived at the location that Shinzo told them, the bouncer didn't look like he had any intention of letting them in.
Also Nanami was with a fifteen years old boy, there was no way in hell they would let him in with Itadori by his side.
"Itadori-kun wait here, I'm-" there was no Itadori besides him, he was already approaching the bouncer.
This and Gojo Satoru were going to be the reason of his precocious balding.
"Oi, let me in." Sukuna boldly walked to the bouncer, he didn't respect the line.
