Bucky woke up hearing children playing and he looks up at the blonde who still has her arms around him while asleep. He looks to the side and spots Sam's nephews playing with the shield.
Thalia breathed in, slowly opening her eyes and her ears perked up at the soft laughter of children. She smiled and looked to where Sarah's two sons were playing with the Captain America shield.
Bucky looked at them raising his hand to wave, "Hey." They both got wide eyed as AJ quickly instructed his little brother to put it back before they ran off. Thalia softly laughed at what had happened and Bucky looked at her, their faces were inches apart yet neither noticed.
"How'd you sleep?", Thalia asked as she quickly scanned his face for any hint of distress. "Great, I'm thankful that I didn't have another nightmare", he said and looked into her blue almost green eyes that always held a certain shine to them when he's around.
"Good", she trailed off and looked at his blue almost grey eyes that we're always a locked door but she had the key, and she knew it. The both stayed there looking into one another's eyes and carefully leaning.
"Wake up lovebirds!", Sam exclaimed as he came into the living room with a smug smile on his face. Bucky groaned and buried his head in the crook of Thalia's neck, "Not so loud, Sam."
Sam cackled and just walked away, "When ever your ready I need some help with the boat", he called out to the pair as he left the house.
Bucky and Thalia got ready and headed out to the dock when a little girl barrels into Bucky, sobbing. He carefully helps her up, "Are you okay?", he asks but she doesn't answer, and it's then that he catches sight of the hearing aids in her ears.
They both stand there for a minute, unsure of what to do, and then tough, bold badass Thalia kneels down in front of her and starts singing to her in perfect sign language. She helps the girl find her dad and makes sure she's okay. When the girl is back with her family, Bucky stands there for a minute, looking at Thalia, and she shrugs, "What? She needed help. So I helped her."
"I love you", Bucky whispered in all honesty to himself as he watched her walk away.

Later that morning the trio sat around the water pump if the boat trying to repair it but Thalia had already lost hope. "So, there should be a thee-sixteen bolt that goes in the big gear", Sam said as he points at the water pump.
"Nope", Bucky told him as he shook his head.
"You didn't even look", Sam argued with him.
"I didn't have to", he answered confidently as Thalia threw her head back with a groan, done with their childish acts.
