Sonic was really not in the mood when he stumbled upon the shrine of Tikal. Hit sickened him a lot as he said, "Where were you when my sister needed you?" Looking at the statue made him growl and snarl. He trusted echidnas once but now he assumes that all echidnas are nothing but horrible and heartless. A voice said, "That's not true Sonic. You know it's not true." Sonic scoffed cause he knew who's voice it was. That's when Tikal appeared in front of him and said, "Sonic please don't let this grudge hold you. Please Sonic I beg you. I don't think you know which echidnas are bad or good." Sonic snapped at her and said, "YA THINK?! If you echidnas were so great then why didn't you save my sister from being killed?! Why?!" Tikal sadly looked down not saying a word as Sonic said, "That's what I thought. You let my sister die. You let Everbrave village down." Tikal replied, "I know Sonic and I'm sorry I wasn't able to save her but...You can't be mad at all echidnas. Knu~" Sonic interrupted her angrily, "DON'T YOU DARE MENTION THAT ECHIDNAS NAME!!! HE TRIED TO KILL ME!!!" Tikal said in tears, "Sonic it wasn't what it looked like. Please take a closer look I beg you." Tikal knew the names of all echidna kind especially the Noctrunus though she never reveals the Noctrunus cause she didn't feel comfortable about it and also cause her sister Shade is part of it. Sonic then said with a scowl, "You have been filling my mind with your goody goody words long enough Tikal. But once I kill the Noctrunus. I will make sure your kind suffer so much." Sonic walked off as Tikal said with sadness and worry, "Why? His grudge really has had its days but it has gotten worst than it has. I hope he can open his eyes by someone that truly cares about him more than anything else."
