LMAO I DIDNT REALISE HOW LONG UTS BEEN TIKL SOMEONE LITERALLY ASKED IF I WAS ALRIGHT IN THE COMMENTS.
I'm alive sorry 😩
"Luke?" called Meredith through the door of the interns locker room, her hand resting against the side, the other sat comfortably on her hip.
A skinny young guy crept through the bundle of eager interns, revealing a flop of light blonde hair laid upon his head. "Here." he muttered lightly, twiddling his thumbs together making the anxiousness he was feeling painfully obvious.
"Ok.." Meredith sighed, her eyes peering over the interns stood in front of her. She hadn't got any of the good ones, the ones you could tell were exceptional just from looking at them: none like her.
"And Julia?" She called one last time, hope glimmering on her face only to be removed as girl with dark black hair stumbled out clumsily, her belongs dropped across the floor in front of her.
"Sorry, sorry." Julia mumbled, by the feet of Mer, causing her to sigh and walk of. "You guys are with me." She called, as the eager bunch ran after her, slowly followed by a Julia, her arms crossed around her picked up belongings.

Meredith hadn't seen Addison since the wedding, and she was glad for it as it gave her time to come up with her reaction for when they see each other.
See, Addison and Callie had spent the last two weeks in Italy, the honeymoon Jason and her were supposed to take after the wedding.
But Addison being gone didn't make the gossip that spread across the hospital like a virus any less intriguing for anyone, and as Meredith walked back and forth across the corridor she could not shake the fact that every eye of every doctor and patient was on her.
She hated it... she really hated it.
As Meredith reached the ER, her eyes focusing on the slumped back Owen Hunt in front of her, she felt herself relax a little bit, the empty ER letting off a comforting silence that she couldn't help but enjoy.
"It's so quite in here." exclaimed the young blond boy from before, small gasps in reply escaping from his comrades. Everyone knew that as soon as any doctor should say that, it's like cursing the Er. Meredith rolled her eyes, swerving her body around to face the unlucky intern.
"Well.. well done, you just screwed us all." she whispered under her breath as Owen playfully pushed her shoulder. "Come on we better get ready." he said, walking off towards the supply room.
"He's right, it won't be long now before someone comes rushing along." Meredith sighed, her eyes scanning across the faces of the pack of eager interns in front of her.
"You, clumsy," Meredith continued, a long slender finger pointing towards Julia, who was still clasping onto her belongs like a baby, "Take blonde boy over here and go get some gauze off of Dr Hunt." The two looked around, their eyes circling the empty ER around them, Meredith shaking her head disapprovingly. "He's in supply room B." she explained, but the two had ran off before she could even finish.
"The rest of you. I want each bed table stacked with whatever medication or supplies that a doctor could possibly need, we don't need to waste extra time if it can all be there with them instead alright??" She watched a couple faces nod towards her, the rest panning out to separate beds or cupboards, all heads turning and checking the door hoping for their first big surgery.
"Interns." muttered a voice behind a Meredith, a hand landing comfortingly on her shoulders. "I miss that feeling."
Meredith spun around to face the person who's voice had left the hairs on her spine alert. She felt her mouth start to open as her eyes surveyed the woman infront of her, a unrecognisable tan painted across her skin.
"Addison." Meredith exclaimed, her eyes peering into the familiar dark brown eyes she hadn't realised she'd missed so much. She felt Addi's hand glide from her shoulder down her arm, goosebumps leaving a trail behind her soft fingertips.
"Meredith." Addison replied, a hint of a smile beginning to stretch across her face, causing Meredith's eyes to scan down to her lips.
"I- um... well... how was your honeym- trip?" Meredith muttered, the words barely louder than a breathe as they escaped from Meredith's gaping mouth.
"How about I tell you over lunch?" Addison replied, her fingers stroking her flowy red hair, which seemed to be even redder under the light of the sun.
"Oh.. um- yh, yh that would be great." Meredith said joyfully, her eyes tracing back up to meet with Addison's, which seemed to have never have left her own.
"I'll see you then." Addison explained tracing her finger across the back of Meredith's hand before turning away leaving her stranded again alone. She felt a breathe escape her lips as looked down towards her thumbs, which were once again twiddling with each other, a nervous habit she'd seemed to had always had. Meredith turned back around, facing again towards the ER, to find the faces of all her interns pointed towards her, a couple knowing smiles painted across a few faces.
"What are you all looking at." She exclaimed, as she glared back at the group, "get back to work."
