Hey Lula :D Hey Charlotte :D If you are up to here I swear I will kill you. That's seriously so embarrassing I'm going to die 😵

⬆️ what do you do when your friends find out you have a wattpad book. Just wondering.

"Addie?" Meredith asked, as the realisation of what he just said set in. "she's asking for you." He smiled, causing Meredith to lift her body off her seat, and without a second word, move around him and out the door.

'Addison's here?' She thought as a smile of relief appeared on her face. She laughed cheerfully as adrenaline filled her body causing her steps to speed up. She transitioned into a jog and then into a run, rushing to find Addison.

It had been 3 months since she came to Meredith's house completely drunk. Before anyone could stop her Addison quit. No one knew why she had left, not even the chief. She just left a letter of resignation on his desk. Nothing else, not even a goodbye.

But as Meredith sprinted past the Emergency room her mind erased any negative thoughts she had. She didn't care anymore: Addi was safe. Addi was here. She sighed in relief, her breathe becoming more frantic with each step due to the speed she was moving at. She swerved round the corner, meeting face to face with the oak door leading to the Chief's office. There was a black sign plastered on it with the words -please do not disturb- written in bold

Meredith placed her hand against the door, letting out a deep breath. Shutting her eyes, she tried to imagine Addison sat on the other side of the door waiting for her. Her rustic red locks curled to her shoulders spread across her back. Her hazel eyes looking into Mer's as she stands up and their lips become inches and inches closer...

"Mer?" A voice came from in front of her, snapping Meredith back into current reality. She opened her eyes to the sight of a pale woman, revealing a confused Addison stood infront of her. Addi smiled slightly, but swiftly wiped it away glaring up into Meredith's eyes.

Mer's ocean blue eyes met her glance, as the two stood in silence staring at each other. She could feel her body relaxing, letting her shoulders down and a deep breathe out. Meredith slowly moved her hand up to Addi's check, placing it there and rubbing it with her thumb. "I missed you." She said sympathetically, a slight smile appearing on her thin red lips.

"Meredith I-" Addison gulped, taking her gaze away from Meredith's and moving towards the chief's windows. She let out a sigh, glaring at the people on the other-side of the glass. "My boyfriend proposed to me, Mer." She declared, placing her hands behind her back.

Meredith stared blankly, not knowing how she should react to this statement. Panic overcame her and before she could do anything, her breathing become louder. She clasped her hand around the doorknob next to her, unable to keep her balance. She tried to stabilise herself, not wanting to fall over, before looking back up at Addi.

Addison was clearly trying not to make any eye contact. She was stood straight up and examining out the window, watching the patients and doctors run around. Her hand were behind her back and- wait... she's not wearing a ring. Meredith's eyes glanced down to Addi's bare fingers, noticing that there was no sign of any type of circular bands. She couldn't help but let out a quick smile. "But- you- you're not wearing a ring." Meredith stated, taking her chance and walking up to Addison. She positioned herself next to her, matching her gaze and glaring out of the window.

"Yes." Addi agreed, turning her face to meet Meredith's who did not return the look back. "I- I told him I wasn't sure. That- that... there was something stopping me." Now this caused Meredith tp react, swerving her glance towards Addison. She breathed in, unsure what to say next, waiting for her to continue.

"Meredith- do I have anything stopping me?" proposed Addison, glaring into her eyes. "Meredith."
