Meredith woke up to soft gentle kisses caressing her neck. They moved from behind her earlobe down to the brim of her collarbone making her shiver at each touch. She rolled over to face the person who's lips they belonged to. She hardly remembered anything that happened the night before. After Addison left her in the skills lab it was mainly all a blur. Meredith did what she always did and went with Cristina to Joe's and drank a whole lot of tequila.

Still dreary from her nap, Meredith let out half a yawn. She felt a hand place itself on her hip as she opened her eyes. "Finn!" Meredith exclaimed as her eyes focused on the man layed in front of her. He smiled at her and left a sweet kiss on her lips. "Hello, Meredith" he said placing his hand on her cheek, before planting another kiss on her lips, it lingering a second longer than the one before. "Last night...God, last night." He laughed, obviously remembering more than she was. He stared at her longingly before speaking once again. "You know, I missed you Meredith, I really did." he told her before rolling over to get out of bed. She smiled at the back of his head, trying to hide her humiliation and embarrassment.

"Imma go take a shower" She mumbled quickly before grabbing the blanket that covered her and rapping it around her exposed body. She shuffled into the shower closing the door behind her.

"Oh god, Oh god, Oh god." Meredith moaned as her body slid down the door, her arms wrapping around her legs as if she was trying to make herself as small as possible. "Oh god, what have I done."

She could hardly remember anything from last night. It was all a huge blur of alcohol and well.. more alcohol. The last thing that comes to her mind is her rambling about her previous experiences with Addison to Cristina, who just laughed it off, clearly drunk out of her mind. After that it all just, blacked out. Meredith sighed resting her face in her palms, taking a deep breathe.

'I'm just going to forget it ever happen' she decided after a long 30min debate with herself. 'I'll explain that it was a mistake to Finn, he'll understand, he'll be ok. Everything will go back to normal." She stretched out her legs before standing up and wrapping the blanket back around her body. She dunked her hair into the sink, wanting to make it seem like she had really been in the shower all this time and not debating how to tell a man that her experience with him was completely unmemorable. She felt the cool water from the tap hit her scalp, and trickle down her face.

Opening the door of the bathroom, she revealed a grinning Finn, dressed in one of Derek's shirts and the boxers he had had on last night. 'Hey, hope you don't mind, I took a shirt out of your dresser as my clothes from last night... Well you know what happened to them." he laughed to himself, "I was just gonna go down and maybe make us some breakfast. You up for it?" he smiled, before looking back at Meredith and noticing the frown across her face.

"Look Finn, last night, it was a mistake. I don't even remember most of it! I was drunk and had a terrible day at work and I'm so sorry you had to be a victim of that. If I could take back what I did I would, I swear. You know I'm not a bad person I wasn't in the right mindset I'm so sorry Finn. Really truly sorry." She was rambling. "I'm just.. really sorry." She let out a heavy sigh of relief looking up at his seemingly blank face. She probably shouldn't have just blurted it all out like that but at this moment in time she couldn't really give less of a fuck. Mer twiddled with her thumbs waiting for a reaction to come out of Finn.

He stood there in a silence, for what felt like eternity.

His eyes slowly drifted up to look at Meredith, who was still wrapped in the blanket from her bed, hair slightly wet and dripping onto her broad shoulders. He smiled at her softly and without anymore hesitation turned on his heels and left the room.

———————— back at the hospital ————————

Meredith's eyes wondered to the sign plastered above the hospital. 'Seattle Grace Hospital'. She loved it there. She practically grew up there thanks to her mother. She can still remember being five years old and running around the corridors carrying anatomy Jane along with her. Nothing much has really changed to be honest. Just the people around her. Now, of course, all of her friends are here, Addison's here, her boyfriend's here.

'CRAP... DEREK. what in the world am I meant to tell him'. But before She was able to begin to panic. she felt a sturdy hand clasp around her shoulder.

"Derek... hey"

Hey guys, sorry I was running out of ideas and just thought it be fun to bring Finn back in. Don't worry next chapter it back with Addison :))
