As we exited the shack I walked with Sirius. "I've missed you." He said as we made our way down the corridor, Harry and Hermione in front of us.
"I've missed you too." I said looking over to him as we walked, I put my hand in his, his hands weren't soft like they used to be, they were rough, calloused, but my hand still seemed to fit as perfectly as it used to. "Would you want to move back to Godric's Hollow?" I asked.
"I would love to." He said smiling. "I miss that old house, our room, our kitchen! I haven't had a good meal in years." He said chuckling.
"That'll be the first thing we do." I said, bringing the back of his hand to my mouth for a kiss. "Then we can see about getting the spare bedroom set up."
"Why?" Sirius asked, his eye's immediately meeting mine. "Do you...?"
"wELL," I croaked out, "that one will require some thought, but I meant get it ready for Harry!" I said and Sirius suddenly realized. "Harry's been dying to leave the Dursley's and with your name cleared and me not being marked as the psycho fiancée who couldn't let you go, we could finally be together!" I said excited.
"This'll be great! Harry will be with us, we can take him to Quidditch games, and show him all the nooks and crannies of Hogwarts, teach him new spells!" Sirius began to ramble. "Let's tell him now!" Sirius quickly dragged me to Harry and Hermione.
"Hermione, would you mind giving us a moment?" I asked, and Hermione quickly stepped behind us.
"So uh, Harry." Sirius started, he seemed to suddenly lose his previous excitement.
"Yeah Sirius?" He asked, he still seemed a bit wary about him.
"Well, you know what this means?" Sirius asked. "Turning Pettigrew in?"
"You're free," Harry answered
"Yes..." Sirius nodded, "But I'm also —I don't know if anyone ever told you —I'm your godfather."
"Yeah, I knew that," said Harry.
"Well... your parents appointed me your guardian," Sirius explained awkwardly "If anything happened to them..." I watched as Harry looked on in anticipation "I'll understand, of course, if you want to stay with your aunt and uncle, but... well... think about it. Once my name's cleared... if you wanted a... a different home..."
"What —live with you?" he asked as he hit a bit of rock protruding from the ceiling. "Leave the Dursleys?"
"Of course, I thought you wouldn't want to," Sirius began
"Love, we want you to be out of that house and to be with some of your real family." I explained.
"When can I move in? Do you have a house?" He asked eagerly.
"Of course we have a house, I'd hope you'd move in immediately!" I said ruffling his messy hair.
We were nearing the end of the tunnel as Lupin threatened Peter to not make one wrong move, but before I could even take a breath of fresh air a cloud shifted, revealing the full moon.
Oh, my —" Hermione gasped. "He didn't take his potion tonight! He's not safe!"
"Run," Sirius whispered. "Run. Now." I quickly looked around, Harry was frozen, and Ron was chained to Pettigrew and Remus. Remus began thrashing as Sirius caught him and threw him further away from us. "Leave it to me —RUN!"
"You heard him! Get going!" I said as I quickly transformed to help Sirius. We quickly moved Remus further and further from the trio. I looked back at them for a second before I felt Remus attack my back. I yelped in pain, transforming back, while Sirius was still fending him off.
