We continued flying until we found a large, secluded forest area. "I think this should be good, Sirius." I pointed over to what looked like a cave near the river. We quickly landed and checked the area for any muggle travelers or wild animals.

"Lovely, let's set up camp." Sirius began to unload what looked like a tent from my trunk.

We quickly set up the enchanted tent that had a queen-sized bed, small living area, and a kitchenette.

"This is a really nice tent." I said bringing my trunk into the living area. "Well, we should probably send Harry a letter and let him know we're okay.

"That's a wonderful idea, love but we still need an owl." He said as he began searching for parchment. "I don't think you want to risk having (Y/p/n) caught by the ministry."

"That's true, I can go find an owl from one of the local shops." I said thinking back to when my parents would have us stay in Spain for the summers.

"Are you sure you'll be okay by yourself?" Sirius asked, grabbing my hand. "You know you're wanted by the ministry too."

"I'll be fine, I doubt they've sent a full world warning out yet." I explained as I grabbed my purse from the trunk. I quickly sorted through it before I pulled out a wand. "Looks like Dumbledore found my wand!" I quickly tossed the wand to Sirius. "You can keep a hold of that one love, I'll be fine without it."

"I'll go hunting while you're gone then." He said, swishing around the wand.

"Sounds good!" I quickly apparated to the nearby wizard village. I made my way to the owl post station where I saw this adorable little grey owl sitting by its lonesome. "Excuse me sir?" I asked the man behind the till.

"Yes! What can I do for you ma'am?" He stopped organizing what looked like letters and came to the front of the shop.

"I was wondering if you had any owls for sale. Mine recently passed." I lied attempting to get sympathy from the worker, usually post stations didn't sell owls, only let them fly out for deliveries.

"I'm so sorry, but unfortunately we don't sell our owls." He said kindly. "But I can rent one out for you."

"Oh, that's alright, I don't need to send mail," I explained looking at the man, Darnell. "I just wanted my son to feel better, he was so distressed when Hermes passed, we've had him since my son was small."

Darnell scratched his neck before looking over to the small grey owl. "I'm not supposed to do this, but this guy isn't any good at delivering mail, he's been pretty sad since his brothers and sisters were adopted from a pet shop in a couple cities over." He placed the cage on the counter. "It seems like he needs you as much as you need him."

"Thank you, sir! How much do I owe you?" I asked, staring happily at him.

"I'll take a ten galleons for him." He held out his hand.

"Of course!" I quickly dug out the galleons and placed them in his hand. "My son will be so excited to meet him!" I said gushing at the bird.

"Glad I could help ma'am, take good care of Apollo!" he called as I made my way out of sight before apparating to the tent.

"Sirius! Look who I got!" I called as I brought Apollo into the tent, suddenly the depressed owl was buzzing with excitement.

Sirius peeked his head out from the kitchen. "Look at this." he said, coming closer to the owl. "Who's this little guy?" He asked, sticking his fingers through the bars, Apollo gladly nuzzled against Sirius.

"The shopkeeper called him Apollo, but I think it's just because I lied about an owl dying." I explained opening the cage so the bird could fly around the tent.
