Once back at the cottage, I could hear Harry and Dad in the kitchen, no doubt cooking something. "Hey there you lot, what are you up to in here?" I tried looking around their shoulders, but Harry and my father stopped me.

"No peeking! It's a surprise before I head home." Dad explained pushing me back slightly.

"You're leaving so soon?" I asked, feeling the happy atmosphere shift.

"Well I can't leave your mom alone for long," He explained, "you can see once we're done here." He said promptly, Harry nodded in agreement, before wiping a bit of flour off of his face.

I rolled my eyes playfully, "Fine I guess I'll wait." Sighing I made my way to the living room, flopping on the couch and grabbing today's edition of the Daily Prophet that had been delivered this morning.

Midway through an article about the preparation for the Quidditch World Cup Harry's voice captured my focus. "(Y/n)?" He stood in front of me, a small plate of cookies in his hands. "Granddad told me they were your favorite." He smiled softly.

"These are my favorite cookies!" I grinned back at him, "Thank you so much, Harry, I love them." I happily bit into the dessert, humming in delight at the taste. "Mmm! They're wonderful hun."

Harry beamed at the compliment before grabbing one as well. "They're not as bad as the 'health cookies' Petunia makes for Dudley." He explained using air quotes to emphasize the point. "Um, when did I have to be back at the Dursley's?" His question was hesitant and his smile fell as he finished his question.

I thought momentarily before answering, "I'm sure they won't mind if we bring you back tomorrow instead." I suggested, causing Harry's goofy grin to return. "Want to watch a movie before Granddad leaves?"

"Oh, yeah! Which ones do you have?" He asked eagerly.

"Put on the one with the ark-y-olo-gist!"

"Archaeologist, Dad!" I corrected him, searching for the tape among my collections.

"Oh, whatever." He huffed. I heard the sound of the oven, shortly after the popping of kernels came through.

"When did that one come out?" Harry asked seeing the cover of the VHS tape.

"Back in 84'," I explained hand outstretched for the tape. "I had taken Sirius to see the movie Jaws and he loved it, so we began seeing movies as often as possible," I explained smiling at the memory. "Once he was imprisoned I started collecting films I thought he'd like so we could watch them together." I loaded up the VCR, glancing over to Harry. "You seen this one before?"

Harry shook his head quickly. "Petunia never took me along to see movies when they would go." He explained. "She said it wasn't fair to Dudley if they brought me with." He added.

"From the way you talk about him, I forget you two are the same age," Dad said while carrying a bowl of freshly popped popcorn.

"I would too, but the guy's as wide as he is tall." Harry half muttered, earning a laugh out of both my father and me.

"The signs of a spoiled little child," Dad commented as he settled into the armchair.

The VCR began playing the previews for other films, "Let's settle in yeah?" I suggested. Harry nodded and we settled into the couch, the bowl of popcorn between the two of us.

The movie began shortly, my fathers snoring shortly after that. About halfway through the movie, I felt Harry lean against me, he had fallen asleep. I carefully slipped his glasses off his face, setting them on the side table. Adjusting slightly, I wrapped an arm around him before focusing back on the movie.

It was morning when I awoke, Harry's head now in my lap and my father with his bags. "I didn't wake you did I?" He whispered.

I shook my head, glancing at Harry, then back to my dad. "Are you leaving?" I asked softly, not wanting to wake the sleeping teenager.
