What a Wimp

It was Thursday morning and I was scheduled to help Snape with his potions class. "(Y/n)," Snape drawled out. I looked over at him and rolled my eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me Potter." He spat out my name, as if it was poison on his tongue.

"I'm not your student Severus," I growled out at him. "I may roll my eyes as much as I like," I said walking closer to him. "What do you want?"

"My student, Mr. Malfoy has been in the hospital wing and needs to start coming to classes, you are to escort him down here." He said crossing his arms.

"And why can't you do it? I'll tell the kids what to do for the shrinking solution." I asked crossing my arms. I was not going to play messenger.

"I would but," he trailed off. "Dumbledore wants you more involved with the other houses." He lied through his teeth, but I knew because of all the time I spent with both him and Lily.

"You're a lying git Severus." I said before turning to go retrieve Malfoy. "Lily would be disappointed." I walked away without looking back at him.

It took me half of double potions to get Malfoy out of the hospital wing.

"I shouldn't have to listen to you Potter!" He spat out at me when I first went up.

"Your head of house said you needed to start going to classes, so you will get up now or I'll give you a reason to stay here longer." I growled out before Madam Pomfrey hit me on my shoulder.

"Your boyfriend wasn't as bad but he did play it up like this..." I knew she was about to call him an idiot but she corrected yourself. "Young man." She finished.

"One," I said lifting up my first finger. "He wasn't my boyfriend, and two," I said lifting another finger. "He was better at it and knew when to stop and when to continue because his superiors could still see him." I finished as I over emphasized the last four words due to Mr. Malfoy's movement of his 'injured' arm to to scratch his head. He quickly went back to pretend he was in pain, but Madam Pomfrey saw him anyway.

"Mr. Malfoy, you are dismissed and may go with Ms. (L/n)," I turned to Poppy and raised my eyebrows so she would correct herself. "I mean Potter." I slowly turned to see Malfoy's face, it looked dumber than before.

"You're a (L/n)?" He asked, his voice sounded far less nasty and a lot more sweet, it made me sick.

"Yes." I answered shortly, "Would you please get up now?" I asked as I pulled him up.

"Only if you tell me about the (L/n) clan, they're one of the largest pure blood wizarding families in Britain, maybe the world!" He exclaimed. The boy that I had saw before was replaced by a happy child-like version of himself. There was no hatred or mocking, no venom laced in his voice, he sounded genuinely like a decent nice kid.

"Fine, lets go." I said grabbing his shoulder. "The (L/n) is from my dad. I'm an only child." I began to explain as we left the hospital wing.
Many of Draco's, as I had learned his name was, questions were some that I didn't even know, and others were too personal for me to answer comfortably. He was about to ask about my so called 'boyfriend' when we arrived to the dungeons.

We walked in and instantly a Slytherin girl with a rather pug-like face stood up and cried to Draco. "How is it Draco? Does it hurt much?" She asked. It reminded me a bit of a Hufflepuff girl that was always fawning over Sirius.

"Yeah." Malfoy said, the nice sweet boy I had been talking with only moments before disappeared and the snooty asshole from before had returned.

"Settle down, settle down." Snape said, I looked over and glared as I walked towards him. "Why are you staring at me like that?" He asked me quietly.
