"I have household replacement papers for a Mr. Harry James Potter." I handed over the paperwork to a young-looking, fair-skinned, dark-haired witch.

"For Mr. Harry James Potter huh?" She asked, taking the paperwork. "It's not often we see replacement forms around here, what's the purpose for the replacement?" She asked, looking over the completed form.

"End of life request and possible child neglect." The witch seemed a bit surprised at the answer but continued to look over the documents.

"Well, I see the will of James and Lily Potter is included here as well," She hummed before waving her wand. The forms were duplicated and whisked into a folder. "Your request will be processed in two to three business weeks." She handed the original documents back.

"Two to three weeks?" I took the papers, a bit incredulous. "He only has about a month before he returns to Hogwarts, is there any way we can expedite the process?" She had stated that there weren't many requests for this type of thing, and surely it wouldn't take as long.

"I might be able to move things around, but since Bertha got moved to the Department of Magical Games and Sports we've been down a set of hands." She explained. "Not that she was much help in the first place, a girl like that was all talk no work." She huffed.

"Bertha Jorkins?" I asked, the name seemed familiar. "I think I was at Hogwarts a few years behind her."

"Really?" The witch hummed in response, seemingly happy for the small talking break. "I just graduated from Hogwarts a few years ago." She explained, a small smile on her face. "With Charlie Weasley, d'you know the lot?"

"I do, actually." I smiled. "Molly was friends with my parents, Bill was a few years from starting when I finished though."

"Molly Weasley makes those boys built, I'll tell you that." She mused, a bit of a dazed look in her eye. I chuckled at her response before a small blush graced her round face. "Here I am complaining about Bertha when I'm talking your ear off myself." She shook her head a bit. "I'll see about putting in a special request for your case."

I giggled a bit at her flustered appearance. "It's alright, I appreciate the chat." The young witch waved her wand again and the file flew to the front of the queue. "Have a nice rest of your day." I smiled, before exiting the office. I made my way through the Ministry, floo powder seemed like the best option for heading home.

As I walked out of the fireplace I was greeted by (Y/p/n), a letter attached to their leg. "Who's this from?" The bird simply shook its head as it flew to its stand by the window. I opened the letter, it was from Remus.

Praelia,

I'm sure (Y/p/n) will find you as they were able to find me.
I'm glad that Harry has you to fall back on in his time of need.

I'm not sure why I'm writing this letter to you, I'm sure you're with Sirius and this letter could put you at risk.

I'm sorry you and Sirius never got the lives you wanted alongside Lily and James, ever since last month when I learned Sirius was innocent I only long to see the two of you again.

As I'm sure you remember, my mother has passed and I don't speak with my father. I find myself struggling with isolation more than ever.

If you happen to be near the London area please send an owl and I'd be happy to meet up with you.

Best,
Moony

I frowned a bit at the contents of the letter before folding it up and putting it in my pocket. "Dad? Harry?" I called out, the house seemed quiet and empty. "Where did those two run off to?" I looked around before finding a handwritten note on the kitchen counter.

Took Harry to do muggle activities, will be back by dark.
Dad

I shook my head a bit at the note before grabbing a spare bit of parchment. I wrote a quick note to Remus and attached it to (Y/p/n) who seemed less than enthused to be traveling again. "Take it to Moony, I think it'd be a good time to visit." The bird seemingly huffed before flying off.
Following suit, I apparated to Diagon Alley. Remus hadn't specified where he was, but this was a good place to start.
