Dealing with Sirius Topics (Sirius x Reader)

Well?

I had quickly left the potions room, only to see Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville standing outside the door. "What on earth are you still doing here?" I addressed the group.

"Well," "What we were-" "I really wanted-" Harry, Ron, and Hermione began speaking at once before Neville walked over to me. "We wanted to make sure you were okay." He said, his hand was in his pocket, gripping something. I looked over the other three kids there, they nodded in agreement.

"Well, I'm perfectly fine, now, lets get to class." I said pushing them all to the Defense Against the Dark Arts room, I had memorized the Gryffindor schedule, I always knew where Harry would be, or at least should be.

I walked in the room with the trio and saw no one at the desk. "Oh, poor dear, he must be running late." I muttered before I sat on the desk. I passed the time waiting for Lupin by answering questions.

"I heard a rumor that you and Professor Lupin are a couple, is that true?" A girl asked, she had dirty blonde hair and seemed very nosy.

"A couple of idiots if you ask me." Lupin's voice drifted through the air. "But no, no we are not dating." He said slinging an arm around my shoulder.

"It'd be like dating James." I started laughing as I wrapped my arm around his back, I felt his the laughter in him as we looked out, Harry seemed to be chuckling along as well, I can't wait to tell Harry more about James. "We're like siblings, he and I." I manged to get out, the thought of James and I dating was almost as funny as the thought of Remus and I dating.
We had gotten a couple of other students to laugh and soon we all settled down.

"Would you please put all your things away, today is going to be a practical lesson today, you'll only need your wands." Lupin explained, stepping toward the door. I quickly followed before looking among the class.

"Well c'mon you lot, we haven't got all day." I joked to the class who very quickly got up and followed Lupin and I out of the classroom.

We were on our way to the staffroom, only to find Peeves stuffing a keyhole with gum, as soon as he saw Remus he started singing. "Loony, loopy Lupin," he sang over and over, I looked back and saw that the students were shocked, probably at the fact that Peeves was 'disrespecting' a teacher.

"I'd take that gum out of the keyhole if I were you, Peeves." I spoke up to the poltergeist. He finally saw my and broke into another song.

"Loony loopy Lupin and itty bitty potty, haven't seen the two of you since the prophecy of you know who!" He giggled to himself, that was about 14 years ago. Had it really been that long? I quickly snapped out of my thoughts when Lupin spoke.

"(Y/n) is right Peeves." He said, "Mr. Filch won't be able to get in to his brooms." Peeves only response was a raspberry, a real loud and wet one too. Lupin simply sighed and took out his wand. "This is a useful spell, please watch closely." He said to the class. "Waddiwasi" the chewing gum was forced from the keyhole and landed in Peeves left nostril, that got him away as he shouted curses.

"Cool sir!" A boy, Dean Thomas, I believe, said in amazement.

"Thank you Dean, shall we proceed?" He asked and we all set of again, making it to the staffroom. "Please go inside." He said and there he was.

"Leave it open, Lupin." Snape said as Lupin was about to shut the door. "I'd rather not witness this." He said, looking around at the class. He began to leave before he stopped at the doorway. "Possibly no ones warned you-"

"Are you going to leave or just stand there spouting nonsense?" I asked him, I knew we had made an agreement, but I was not going to let him dis Neville to any other teacher. He quickly shut his mouth before walking out with a flourish.

Lupin gave me a warning look before continuing his lesson, he had found another boggart for the third years. I decided to go do some planning for the muggle studies class and let Lupin handle this. "Rem, I'm going to step out if that's alright." I said, It's not that I didn't want to handle the boggart again, it's just that I wanted to keep up on my work. Remus nodded and I stepped out, making my way to the Muggle Studies classroom. I began to write out a lesson plan for the next class and for the one after that.

I glanced at the clock in my room, it read 7:12. 'I guess I should go get something to eat.' I thought to myself as I left the room, I was walking to the dining hall when I saw Harry. "Hey Harold." I said ruffling his already messy hair.

"Oh hello (Y/n)." He said, Ron was right beside him and I waved to him.

"So, how was your first defense against the dark arts lesson?" I asked the two of them. Ron looked rather excited while Harry looked, somewhat bored.

"It was bloody good!" Ron said as we walked into the great hall, there were a few students here and there. "We faced a boggart, when it came up to me it turned into a nasty looking spider." Ron continued to talk about the lesson when suddenly he mentioned Remus. "Professor Lupin had a weird fear though, something like a whispy white circle for some reason." He trailed of as he began to eat.

I knew exactly what Ron was talking about, but I decided to nod and play along. "Yeah, I have no clue, maybe its about the cheese that James once left in his closet." I said chuckling to myself. Ron and Harry let out a soft chuckle as well,

"(Y/n)," Harry began before shaking his head. "Never mind, I'll ask you after dinner." He said before he began eating as well. I nodded unsure before walking up to the table designated for Professors.

"Well, how was your classroom?" Remus's voice made its way into my ears.

"Quiet." I answered. "I miss the rambunctious energy that used to surround our classes." I said reminiscing.

"So do I." Remus said solemnly, it had seemed like we were both remembering James and Sirius. "Well, do you know whats going to start approaching?" Lupin asked. I had racked my brain but my thoughts weren't working.

"What? The Halloween feast?" I asked, I was hungry so it was all I could think of for the moment.

"What? No! I thought you would've been anticipating October for the Quidditch season." He said flicking my forehead.

I slapped my hand to my head. "I've just been thinking about my muggle studies class, how could I forget about Quidditch?!" I whisper yelled. "How come Madam Hooch hasn't talked to me?" I asked Remus. He shrugged and as if on cue I could feel someone grab my shoulder.

"Well if it isn't one of my star beaters." Hooch's voice rang out clearly. I turned around and smiled.

"Madam Hooch!" I got up and gave her a hug.

"I heard that you would be helping me with the Quidditch refereeing and organizing." She said after we pulled apart. She shone just as brightly as she used to, it had only been about twelve years but still, she was beaming with light.

"Of course I'll be there on the pitch! I wouldn't miss it for the world!" I exclaimed as she dropped her hands to her sides.

"But no bias! I expect you to be fair to everyone!" She said shaking a finger at me, her piercing yellow eyes always seemed to be looking into my soul.

"Of course!" I said raising my hand up. "Scouts honor." I smiled as she left. As soon as she did I turned back to Remus. "What are your plans for Halloween?" I asked trying to keep my voice strong. Sure it had been 12 years, but for every single one of those 12 years I had spent them in Godric's Hollow.

"There's a full moon scheduled for the 30th so I will probably spending Halloween in Hogsmead." He said as he began to eat some mashed potatoes.

"Would you like me to accompany you?" I asked reaching over and placing my hand on his shoulder.

"Maybe, we've both been alone on this day for so long, it might be nice to have a friend by my side again."  He said after finishing his mouthful. I smiled softly and began to eat my food, soon the feast was over and the time for bed had arrived. 
I quickly made my way to the room of requirement and got ready for bed, next week was going to be rough.
