It was a bright dawn when Tails woke up. He stretched and yawn as he climbed out of bed. Tails had a good well rested sleep, one of those kind of sleeps you get maybe once a decade.

Alas, something didn't feel right. He knew something was wrong, something was defiantly very wrong.

Troubled, he started to go to his workshop. He always felt better there. The closer he got to the workshop though, the more the feeling messes with him. By the time he was almost there, he broke into a run to open the door.

The little laboratory like room looked just like he left it last night. Tails let out a little sigh of relief as he walked over to the airplane that rested on the far side of the room.

But his eyes went wide as he saw what was wrong, the thing that had made him fear.

He found the chaos emeralds gone.

The secret compartment on the side of the plane that was made to keep the emeralds safe was open, and the emeralds not there.

Tails knew at that instant that he needed to call and tell his friends, but he knew he needed to see something first. He needed to find out who had done it.

He rushed over to a little desk by the wall, that had a computer waiting. He sat down quickly and typed in the password.

As soon as he typed in the password, the whole workshop appeared on the screen, in different angles and views. He clicked on the one that was directed at the plane and rewinds it.

He watched until he saw movement on the screen, making his heart lurch as he recognized a familiar black fox. He didn't play it until she had disappeared again.

And he watched as Luna the Fox found a screwdriver that Tails had left out, and opened the secret compartment that was supposed to hold the chaos emeralds. After she had them in her grasp, she looked almost directly at the camera with a pained look in her icy blue eyes. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "Chaos Control."

And with that, Luna disappeared off the screen once more, and the lab on the video was quiet.

Tails stared in shock. He couldn't believe what Luna had done. He didn't blame her though, knowing that she was scared of Mephiles. Tails just couldn't believe the fact that she went ahead and done it, knowing full well that her friends were going to help her.

Getting up from his chair, Tails sighed as he headed for the nearest phone. He had to let the others know what had happened.

Star and Shadow woke up at exactly the same time, and together they sat up in bed, knowing something was off. Star turned to Shadow -who was wide eyed.

"What's wrong?" Star asked Shadow, knowing that he knew what was wrong as well.

"My emerald's gone," he whispers.

"What!? How?!" Star jumped. There was no way that someone could take his emerald without him knowing- right?

Shadow shook his head, "I don't know. Something happened last night, I fell asleep, right away too, and I couldn't wake up until now."

Star looked at him worried, but she realized that he was right. She had also fell right asleep as well. Someone had planned this.

"Wait, what about-" Star started but Shadow interrupted her.

"Luna!"

Instantly, they both ran out of their room, and into Luna's room, to find it cold and empty. The bed looked as if someone had lied down for a little bit only to get back up.
