Kicker was fuming as he brushed off bits and pieces of debris off him. Mephiles watched him, looking calm, except for his eyes glaring at Kicker. Scourge was leaning against the wall, watching the two with amusement, with Fiona at his side. Daemon just stood, watching everything.

"Didn't I tell you to wait to do what you wanted to do with Tails?" Mephiles asks Kicker.

"How could I pass up the chance to kill him!" Kicker growls.

"You didn't even succeed in doing that!"

"But I left that brat with a mark."

"That won't even leave a scar," Mephiles sneers. "All you did was let him know that we were watching them this entire time! It wasn't like you were messing with the stupid one. No! You mess with the smart one who would figure that kind of stuff out. Now it's not going to be easy spying on them."

"Well, I taught the brute a lesson. Thinks he's goin out with Luna, yeah right!"

"You should of just waited like Mephiles said," Daemon says from his spot in the room.

"Why should I?" Kicker glares at Mephiles, "You can't even make good decisions anymore. We had Luna and them others in the our hands and ya just let them go? What's wrong with you Mephiles?"

"It isn't the right time yet," Mephiles growls, his anger starting to show. Kicker kept his own arrogant posture up. "If you would just wait and be patient like everyone else, then we'll get what we all want and more."

Kicker huffs, "All I want is Luna and a share of the power. And I could of gotten that tonight."

Mephiles takes a threatening step closer to Kicker. "You need to learn who is in charge here. And last time I checked, that's me. So you need to either fallow my orders or leave now."

Kicker stayed silent for a bit, Daemon, Scourge, and Fiona all watching him to see what he was going to say. After what seemed like forever, he finally spoke.

"Even though I don't agree with your thinking, I would rather stay and listen," Kicker says his words slowly, as if each one was weird on his tongue.

Mephiles smiles, "Good choice."

"So what do we do now?" Scourge asks.

"Luna has four more days left. So, we just wait," Mephiles says simply, "And the rest will just fall into place."

"So we just let her have her fun?" Fiona asks, disgust in her voice. In her mind, Luna should be brought back and punished for running away.

"Exactly."

"Shouldn't she be brought back and punished?" Fiona asks bravely.

"No," Mephiles shakes his head, and when Fiona gives him a confused look, he explains, "It like giving a mouse a mouse who's never had cheese, cheese. When you take the cheese away again, the mouse feels worst then when it didn't have the cheese. We're letting her something that she's never really had before, and when we take it away, it'll make her feel worst."

Fiona smiles, "That actually makes sense."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Mephiles smiled slightly.

"Yes it does," he says. "Now all of you get out of here and find something to do."

They all started to leave through the door, but Mephiles stopped Kicker.

"And I don't want to hear about you being near any of the Freedom Fighters' unless you were told otherwise by me."

"Alright," Kicker nods before he walks out the door, leaving Mephiles alone. He shut the door behind him, and sat down at his desk.
