Breakaway (Edited Version)

Hypnotized

Luna's POV

"Come on Luna, everybody is waiting for us at Tails'!" Star called from the hallway.

"I'll be right there!" I called back, quickly looking at myself in the mirror before I left my room.

Shadow, Star and I are all heading for Tails' house for a meeting. Everybody was going, all to discuss the precautions that we would have to take since tomorrow was technically day that Mephiles would start to "watch us" to see if I would get the chaos emeralds to him.

But, to everyone of the Freedom Fighter's concern, we weren't going to give him them.

But my mind told me to do it anyway, and to do it tonight.

Either way, we were having a meeting, now. I smiled a little at Star when we met in the hall, and we both walked to where Shadow was waiting in the living room.

"Finally both of you are ready," he says. "Amy just called me and nearly chewed my ass off for us being late."

"Yeah, I heard," Star says as they quickly kiss. "Let's go."

Shadow pulled out his red chaos emerald and we all gather around him as he whispered, "Chaos control."

A few seconds later we were inside Tails' house, in the little rec room that I has become really familiar to me. Everyone of the Freedom Fighters that I had met were here, including Mina, which surprised me a little.

"Finally you guys are here!" Amy exclaims, and everyone turns their heads to us.

"Yeah, sorry about that," Star says as we all sit down at the three empty chairs.

"It's ok, at least we are all here now," Tails says.

"Yeah, cause we need to talk about this," Sonic adds. "Mephiles should start to watch us tomorrow, at least he says. Right Luna?"

I nod.

"But they were already watching us," Blaze points out. "So how can we believe that he'll even do anything?"

"Yeah. The idiot even let us all go after that fight. Maybe he's giving up," Rouge suggests.

"But we have to expect the worst," Sonic says grimly. "You never know what he might do."

"He could of been tricking us when he let Luna, Rouge, and Espio go," Kat adds.

"I think we should just keep going on with our lives normally, and when he does something we act," Shadow says.

"Yeah. We could do a few things to make sure that we're prepared if anything happens," Star adds.

"Like what?" Stella asks.

"Do we have to stay inside or something stupid?" Wolfa complains. She looked at everyone expectantly waiting an answer.

"Well, everyone should be with somebody else, and not go by themselves for a while," Silver says.

"And the kids should at least have an adult with them, or one of us," Rosez adds, looking at Wolfa and Stella.

Espio added a new rule, "We should also make sure that we are completely alone before talking about things that we don't want him finding out about."

"That makes sense," Amy says, and everybody agrees.

"What about the chaos emeralds?" Rouge asks.

"The red one is safe with me," Shadow answers.

"And I can keep the other two safe," Tails adds. "No one outside this room knows that I even have them."

"Are you sure Tails?" Sonic asks, looking a little concerned. Tails nods.
