The next day, I just wandered around. Its what I do most days, if Mephiles didn't have me busy. Anyone that tried to get close to me today was met by a growl. I just wanted to be left alone.

But, after a while I got tired of walking around doing nothing, so I went to my favorite place in this hell hole. That place was my safe haven and thinking spot. This place was the balcony room.

It's the same room as I was in yesterday, the one close by Mephiles' office. The room wasn't too much, but the view from the balcony was amazing. Far below, I could see the river in the canyon. It leads to the forest one direction, and a desert in the other. Since there was nothing out here except us, the wildlife was everywhere.

I frown though, realizing that I couldn't stay here too long today. A nasty looking storm cloud was coming from the desert, and so it probably wasn't a good idea to be out here when it let loose it's anger.

For now though, I sit down. There was no chairs out here, so I just sat on the cool stone floor. Goosebumps started to run up my arms as the storm came closer. Honestly, I didn't mind the cold. I embraced it. It helps numb some of the pain.

Then my absolutely favorite person in this entire place comes in. For those of you who didn't catch that, I was being sarcastic. I turn to see a dark green kangaroo with spiky dark red hair. He stared at me with dark red eyes that where the same shade of his hair.

"'Ello Luna. How's it goin mate?" he says in his thick Australian accent. He was a young worker here who's only fifteen -that's one year older then me- and he works as hard as he can. Mephiles loves that he is touching young hearts, but it just makes me sick.

"Kicker," I growl. "What are you doing here."

"Bout to bring ya inside mate," he says as he drags me in and shuts the glass doors. Just as he shut them, the storm clouds let out all of their fury.

I growl. "I could of gotten in here myself."

He laughs, "Yeah right."

"Just go," I say as I pull up a chair and sit back down at the window to watch the storm. He sits down on the floor next to me.

"Why aren't you gone yet?" I ask. He smirks.

"Mephiles told me to spend to spend sometime with ya," he says.

I look away from him and growl, "Ok, you've spend some time with me now leave."

"Fine, but when you get your ass chewed out later, don't come blaming me," he says as he leaves the room, closing the door behind him. Good riddance, I thought with an eye roll. He always is finding ways to annoy me. I swear, some times I think that's only reason why he's here.

After he leaves, I take a deep breath. My head turns back to the window, where the rain was falling down. It seemed like the storm calmed down, but not by much.

Five seconds later, he came back. I growl again and turn my head to face him. In his hands is a little black box.

I gasp as he gets on one knee. Oh hell to the no!

"Will ya marry me Luna?" he asks as he opens the box, revealing a gold ring with a black gem. My heart nearly leaped out of my chest, and not in a good way.

I growl through bared teeth, "Why would I marry you!? Stop playing around!"

He smiles, a very evil smile. "I'm not messing around."

My eyes narrow as I give him a death glare, but he keeps on smiling that stupid smile, and I become scared -although I try not to show it.

"I'm not marrying you now leave me alone," I say before I turn my back to him and look out the window once more. Arms wrap around me, and I close my eyes and growl in irritation.
