The guests waited for Lin Xingjin's reply. Suddenly, someone chuckled. They turned their heads to where Song Yue is. Standing next to Song Yue is the infamous Grand General, Nian Xiaoyuan. He donned a regal white robe with yellow patterns and cuffs. Nian Xiaoyuan have a pair of languid charming blue eyes. It is said his mother is a beauty from a foreign country. That is why he looks different than usual men in Zhou. His hair was like a thread of silky gold as well. Niam Xiaoyuan curved his painted red lips, his eyes reflecting Song Cha Hua.

"Master, you never told me your daughter became like this." Nian Xiaoyuan turned to Song Yue. He is the imperial tutor. Song Yue had taught not only the royal family but heirs of prominent families as well. Including Nian Xiaoyuan. He is the first son of the first Grand General and he learnt with Lin Xingjin under the Imperial Tutor's personal teachings. Nian Xiaoyuan is quite smart too. In one glance, he can tell Hong Cha is trying to shame Lin Xingjin and Zhao Xue. If Lin Xingjin chooses to lie, he will embarrass himself. If he tells the truth, Zhao Xue will fall.

"Please do not mind." Song Yue felt a headache. His daughter never left the mansion for two years and stayed obedient. He never knew she have a sharp tongue.

"Why is Miss Hua over there? This One attended to ask for Miss Hua's hand." Nian Xiaoyuan didn't stop. Hong Cha glanced at him and knew he is trying to protect Zhao Xue. After all, he already forced her few months ago. Still, Lin Xingjin don't have any idea his beloved was eaten by another man.

"Father, I cant attend the guests for now. Xiao Cha should take a rest. I don't feel well these past years." Hong Cha chose not to engage. Nian Xiaoyuan is the villain of the story. He have his own halo and only the male lead can overpower it. If she tries arguing with him, she will lose. However, she took a pause and stood in front of her father and the villain. "If Grand General wants my agreement, I just hope Grand General is not after shu-born daughters as well."

"Oh." he half-heartedly said. Too late, young miss. He's already trying to keep Zhao Xue.

"Father, if you want to find another man for Xiao Cha, please pick someone Xiao Cha can rely on. I do not wish to suffer again." Hong Cha flashed a saddened smile before leaving. It left a deep imprint in men's heart, even Nian Xiaoyuan finds her pitiful. He turned to look at Lin Xingjin who was at loss. Nian Xiaoyuan had heard from the rumors that the imperial tutor's daughter was weak after her engagement was dissolved. That is why she is always locked up in the manor. Was it true though?

Hong Cha yawned after waking up. She turned her body over and reached out to grab a soft pillow to hug. Her brows furrowed when she felt a soft fabric but it is hard like stone. What is this? Her pillow? Hong Cha embraced the pillow and leaned her head on it. Oh, it smells like mint. She sniffed happily when she heard a cough. Her eyes opened and to her shock, she wasn't embracing a pillow!

"Ah! Thief!" she shouted in shock. A hand covered her mouth to keep her from shouting. Her sight gradually cleared. She was stunned to know it was Nian Xiaoyuan. This creep! What is he doing here at dawn?!

"Young Miss, is everything alright?" Ai Wen hurriedly asked from outside.

"Relax, Miss Hua. I do not mean to startle you. Tell your maid to leave quick. I want to negotiate." Nian Xiaoyuan slowly removed his hand. Hong Cha furiously harrumphed. He destroyed her sleep!

"Ai Wen, its nothing. I just saw a cockroach entering my room without permission." she spoke as Nian Xiaoyuan's lip twitched. After Ai Wen left, Hong Cha quickly took her quilt and covered herself with it. She's wearing a thin nightie she made herself. This sort of dress is prohibited in this era. "How long did you stay here? Are you a stalker? How did you enter the manor?"

"Pardon?" he raised a brow as if she is accusing him. Nian Xiaoyuan recalled he was here few minutes ago. But since she is asleep, and she have such revealing dress, he cant help enjoying the free view.

"Creep." Hong Cha scoffed. She noticed his gaze lowering to her chest. Her arms hurriedly covered it even with the quilt. "Head Minister Nian, please get to the point. What do you want to say?"

"I must say, you have a good body for your age." Nian Xiaoyuan lifted a smile full of mischievousness. Hong Cha kicked his face in anger. That was unexpected...

"Creepy pervert." she added.

"Miss Hua doesn't like compliments?" he smiled wryly and held her small foot.

"Stop fooling around." Hong Cha pulled her foot back. Like the book says, he's the villain. The opposite of Lin Xingjin. If Lin Xingjin is the ideal cold prince who is still a neat clean virgin, Nian Xiaoyuan is the infamous playboy with a flirtatious personality. He's not kind if he shows you kindness.

"Little girl, you're not worried I will do horrible things to you?" Nian Xiaoyuan is surprised she is calm. His reputation is widely known. She's not afraid that once his patience ran out, he can violate her? Still, Hong Cha looked at him without response. Nian Xioayuan was intrigued. Seems like he found someone the same as him. He got off the bed and leaned on one of its post. "Well, I came here to ask for Miss Hua's assistance."

"In what?" her eyes narrowed on him. Nian Xiaoyuan's lips curved upwards.

"In separating Lin Xingjin and Zhao Xue." Nian Xiaoyuan finally said his agenda. Hong Cha froze for a moment. A smile formed on her face.

"Deal!" she is in bliss! The villain is asking her to join hands with him and destroy the main characters' relationship. This is her mission. Destroy the world plot.
