"Many thanks for the help, Eldest Brother." Ying Huai was glad Ying Wenxiang helped them yesterday on time which caused them to have a victorious win. Ying Wenxiang just nodded. They overlooked the camp where the soldiers are actively moving around. Ying Huai recalled something. "Eldest Brother, perhaps you already know what Second Brother did. Are you planning to join hands with me or let him off?"

"I had seen this coming. Ying Pei wanted to rebel and he had sided with Zhao from the beginning. Right now, the imperial city is unguarded but his troops are in your hand. It is either he can ask a general to enforce a coup d'etat or wait for Zhao to strike." Ying Wenxiang took something out of his sleeve pocket. He handed it to Ying Huai who was dumbfounded. "Kindly return it to Consort Zhu."

Ying Huai's eyes contracted. He calmed himself and thought Hong Cha must have dropped it and Ying Wenxiang happened to pick the necklace. In reluctance he took the necklace from Ying Wenxiang. His older brother formed a wicked smile, meaningful enough as if saying Ying Huai was deceiving himself. Ying Wenxiang left first to manage his soldiers.

Hong Cha was getting ready to leave the world when Ying Huai arrived. She got confused once System Wu beeped.

[Host, the mission went back to zero.]

"Nani?!" her heart thump in extreme dismay. What happened? Ying Huai wordlessly showed her his necklace still attached to his neck. He lifted his hand and showed her the other pair. "Eh? Wang ye, why do you have it?"

She frowned and touched her neck. The thread was still there. Hong Cha pulled her necklace out. The carving was not half a lotus but a dragon's head. Ying Huai dropped the necklace, his hand lowered as his irises dimmed. He felt like he lost the strength to even argue with her and can only helplessly sit down. His hand covering his face

"This... How come?" even Hong Cha was stumped. She recalled the night in the spring, she removed her necklace and Ying Wenxiang brought her to his tent the next day. It must be him!

"Since when did this start?" Ying Huai found his courage to ask. Hong Cha stayed silent. "Mi Cha! Im asking you!"

"It was an accident!" Hong Cha knelt down, clearly lowering her pride from that moment on. No wonder her mission went back to zero, Ying Huai probably hates her now. What should she do?

"Accident? How? Did he force you?" he speculated, hoping it was against her will. Hong Cha shook her head. His heart thumped. Ying Huai clenched his fists.

"Empress Xin drugged me. I didn't know what to do and only Crown Prince was there. I seduced him and we...we..." she sobbed while speaking. Hong Cha bowed as if kowtowing. "Wang ye, it was my fault. Crown Prince has nothing to do with it. I was the one who broke his limit and it happened. Please do not blame him, it was my fault."

"... Leave." he suddenly said. Hong Cha raised her head in puzzlement. "Leave. Before I can hurt you."

"Wang ye, Im sorry." she tried to plead but she received a resounding glare. Hong Cha lowered her head, she left in reluctance. Just as she head out, Hong Cha remained outside when she heard crashing sounds. Oh, the male lead is angry, terribly angry. Hong Cha cant tell what to do. She sat down and leaned on the tree supporting the wide tent. Her gaze never leaving its door.

"Xiao Cha." Ying Wenxiang arrived on time to see her sitting there like an abandoned puppy. Hong Cha sent him a glare. He turned her mission back to zero!

"Don't come near me." she looked away and decided to ignore him. "You made wang ye hate me. You deceived me too! So, don't ever talk to me or get near me again."

"Xiao Cha, if you ignore me, I swear to stop supporting your husband. You know we are at the border and if he lacks forces, it can endanger his life." his red eyes deepened, seemingly dabbed with blood. Hong Cha snorted and continued to not heed his warning. With her clear decision, Ying Wenxiang left her on her own. Since she still chose Ying Huai, he will let her know his importance.

Like Ying Wenxiang said, Zhao began another attack. But since Ying Wenxiang decided not to aid Ying Huai, things got out of hand. Hong Cha was helpless. She just heard from her system that Mi Yan spend a night with Ying Huai. Everyone can guess what had happened. She lost her favor as the first wife very quick. Sooner or later, Mi Yan will become his concubine or even his second main wife if he decides to divorce Hong Cha.

In one certain night, Hong Cha wanted to slowly mend her relationship with her husband. She headed to the tent when she sensed blood. Hong Cha opened the tent to see an assassin lying down the floor. Ying Huai seems fine and Mi Yan was with him. She avoided his cold gaze and noticed a sharp glint from the window.

"Watch out!" she picked the ink slab on a table and threw it to the window behind Ying Huai. He quickly evaded, the slab hitting another assassin outside. Ying Huai was stunned. Hong Cha suddenly pushed him towards Mi Yan. She endured the dagger thrown to her, stabbing her torso. It happened too quick but it alarmed Ying Huai. He wanted to catch her however, he is too far and Mi Yan is in his arms.

The soldiers noticed the noises and hurried over. An assassin took Hong Cha since she was the unprotected one within the tent.

"Cha'er!" Ying Huai reached for her stretched hand but she was taken away from the window. Hong Cha smiled bitterly, mouthing her farewell.
