"E-elope?!" Hong Cha nearly choked. She only wanted to help him escape then cut their ties together since he have nothing for Lou Fencha. Hong Cha glanced at Xu Qin Bing. Gu Jiaoyue had told her beforehand, Xu Qin Bing is more than willing to let Xu Qin Rui off this time but the government had forced an order to her to capture her own brother. What will she choose now? Hong Cha had given her an easier and obvious choice but what is making Xu Qin Bing hesitant?

"... Men, pave way for them." Xu Qin Bing faintly ordered. The officers still didn't move. She turned to them with a stern face. "You heard me, let them leave!"

They reluctantly paved way for Xu Qin Rui and the rest. Hong Cha clicked her tongue. "I said Xu Qin Rui, not everyone. And oh, make sure Sang Linlin doesn't get hurt. She's that woman behind Xu Qin Rui." she repeated. This drew questions. An underling of Xu Qin Rui complained openly. Hong Cha glared in dismay. "Xu Qin Rui is a madman, what about you guys? You all have brains but you chose to live a life like this. None of you are exceptions! If I hear another complain, I'll just command those police to shoot you all!"

"Old Lou..." Bai Zhang called again from his ear pod. Lou Fenbing's hands trembled. He slowly raised the Sierra but then, Hong Cha placed the detonator behind her to keep it from his sight. Lou Fenbing looked at her one more time. From her calm face, he can tell she is expecting him to do two things but choose one. Either to let her flee or he kill her himself. The Sierra fell on the cargo. He is unwilling to target her. Bai Zhang knew this would happen so he gave a signal to Xu Qin Bing.

Xu Qin Rui heaved a deep sigh. He is arrogant but he knows when to back down. This is not the outcome he expected since he thought no one will help him, that everyone had turned their back to him. Yet, the person he least expected to appear actually saved him. Xu Qin Rui sauntered to her direction with Sang Linlin running off to Xu Qin Bing. Hong Cha jumped down to meet him when she saw Lou Fenbing picking up the Sierra.

"Xu Qin Rui!" she ran to him but he suddenly stopped. Xu Qin Rui stood on his place, his gaze softening as he smiled genuinely. The most rare smile he ever used. It was not full of arrogance, flirtatiousness or madness. In fact, his demeanor changed as if he had gone normal. She cured him, but she cant save him. Hong Cha's eyes widened and she desperately hurried to his side. She reached her hand to grabbed his hand that was stretched forward yet she missed and stumbled a bit. "Xu, Xu Qin Rui!"

It was like time stopped. Her heart thumped in fear. The world paused at that short moment. His faint smile, his affectionate gaze, his lonely figure, deeply imprinted in her mind. She thought she will fall when he pulled her to him and embraced her gently. Xu Qin Rui held the back of her head, making her lean on his chest. His heart beating slowly and slowly. She sensed blood and their clothes getting soaked. Hong Cha knew it was his blood.

"Xiao Cha." he used his last bit of strength left to keep himself standing. Red blood trickled from the corner of his lips. "Xiao Cha, raise our child well. Im, Im sorry I cant be a good father. I don't want you to get implicated."

"Idiot!" Hong Cha felt her tears dampening her cheeks. This wasn't her feelings. Where did it come from? "Idiot... Sir Xu, you idiot."

"Sorry." Xu Qin Rui tightened his hold. He regretted everything and for the last moment, he felt blessed. "Sorry, I was selfish. If there is a next life, I will take care of you properly. I will not hurt you and...and, r-raise our child. In- in my next life, Xiao Cha."

Hong Cha's eyes contracted as Xu Qin Rui loosened his hold. He slowly slid down and fell in front of her. Xu Qin Rui motionlessly lied on the cold floor, his eyes dimming like a broken glass. Hong Cha stood there in shock and time no longer became slow. Xu Qin Bing shook Xu Qin Rui, crying for him to come back. The police began catching the enemies as Sang Linlin rushed to Xu Qin Rui too. Hong Cha looked at them. She unconsciously touched her abdomen while staring at the lifeless body of Xu Qin Rui. Why does he have to die? Why?

"He's dead. Its hopeless." Hong Cha said. Xu Qin Bing covered her mouth and cried her heart out. As for Sang Linlin, she ominously looked at Hong Cha. Sang Linlin stood up and slapped her. Hong Cha didn't fight back.

"He is dead but you are not even crying? What sort of human are you?! He fed you, he bought everything for you, he cherished you more than me!" Sang Linlin slapped her again. Hong Cha lowered her head. "You are such an ingrate! You don't know the pain Sir Xu had gone for because of your selfishness! See? Perhaps now that he is dead, you are happy? You can have your own life now? Bitch!"

"Stop it!" Lou Fenbing pulled Hong Cha but she shook his hand away. He looked at her in puzzlement.

"Had I ever told you not every time, Xu Qin Rui forced me?" she lowly muttered. Hong Cha's gaze remained on Xu Qin Rui. She felt nothing. She is not sad, she is not happy. In fact, she can leave right now since she completed her mission but she doesn't want to.
