"Oh. Sorry, I got used to living in the 21st century." Hong Cha whispered back. After the maids left and there was silence again, they both stood up.

"Sister?" a familiar voice said which shocked Hong Cha. She unconsciously twisted her ankle upon turning to look at Mi Yan. As a result, Gu Jiaoyue caught her. Mi Yan recognized the man with her sister. It was the prince she adored, Ying Huai. He glanced at her indifferently as if their previous interactions was just a mirage. "Y-Your Highness is also here. But why late at night to visit Sister Mi Cha?"

"Is it wrong? Princess Mi Cha is this prince's fiance. The two of us are going to marry soon. A late visit to her is not a problem." Gu Jiaoyue recalled Ying Huai took a small liking to Mi Yan. Well, Mi Yan is the fragile type of beauty and is cute so a prince as independent as Ying Huai got interested to her. This is a critical mistake Hong Cha did. Thus, Gu Jiaoyue decided to help her this time.

"G-Gu Jiaoyue, before you bark at the female lead..." her voice went weak when he glared at her. Bark? What bark? Hong Cha looked down. Gu Jiaoyue is more oppressive with the male lead halo around him. Her measly character is no match for Ying Huai. "My ankle, it hurts. I think I sprained it. I cant walk. If you are kind enough, well... Help me out."

"Fine, fine." he sighed. Gu Jiaoyue ignored Mi Yan's tearful eyes and carried Hong Cha easily. She quickly held unto him to avoid falling off. Hong Cha secretly peeked towards Mi Yan. The female lead is about to cry. With just few words from the man she loves, she is going to cry already. How naive.

"Imperial Sister, see you tomorrow." she bid farewell to cheer Mi Yan up. Unfortunately, the female lead took it as a provocation. Hong Cha didn't know she is slowly blackening Mi Yan's heart.

"The doctor will be here in any minute." Gu Jiaoyue said and entered her room. He placed Hong Cha there before asking servants to call a physician. "You look fine. Were you just faking it?"

"Huh? No! In fact, I'd rather walk than pretend injuring myself so you can carry me around!" she unhappily puffed her cheeks with a hint of redness in anger. Gu Jiaoyue raised a brow. He knelt in front of her and squeezed her ankle. "Ow! Hey! Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow! That damn hurts!"

"Oh, so you're not faking it." he took her shoes and socks off to see the purplish mark on her ankle. Gu Jiaoyue raised his head and was stunned to see her tearful eyes. Her expression, pitiful. This same expression caused his brother to be insane.

Gu Jiaoyue was just nineteen when he first knew about Hong Cha. He heard his twin brother was transmigrating in the same fiction world over and over. What could have made Gu Zixing like that novel so much he can even neglect his work? Gu Jiaoyue had notified his brother he will come for a visit. Gu Zixing is living on his own with quite an excellent life. In fact, Gu Jiaoyue started envying him.

"Second Master Gu, First Master is in this room." the holographic maid said as the door slid open. Gu Jiaoyue stepped in the virtual room that portrayed an elegant office. His older brother sitting on a luxurious chair while speaking with a girl. She was angry with her tone but her eyes are full of tears. The girl was no other than Hong Cha. Gu Jiaoyue was confused why they seemed to not notice him. However, Gu Zixing saw him.

"Gu Zixing! Why are you this mean?" she gave up keeping reasons with him and left. Hong Cha passed through Gu Jiaoyue's body which stunned the young man. After she left, Gu Zixing focused on Gu Jiaoyue.

"Uhm, Zixing, you look...older." Gu Jiaoyue piqued. Gu Zixing seemed to be a mature bachelor right now compared to Gu Jiaoyue:s teenage appearance.

"Oh, this?" he lightly chuckled. Gu Zixing snapped his fingers and the room became clean white. His appearance returned to the nineteen-year-old young man with a helmet on his head. Gu Zixing removed it and smiled at Gu Jiaoyue. "That's my appearance in a novel. You must have heard of my obsession towards it. That is why you're here."

"You guessed it right." he nodded in return. The virtual room created a pair of chair and a tea table. Gu Zixing gestured for him to have a seat. "Zixing, are you after the novel? I heard from your staffs you are trying to find an easier way of transmigration and advance the virtual devices again. But, your P.A. told me you've been attached to a girl in the novel?"

"Hum? A girl in the novel? Oh, no. That was false rumors." Gu Zixing laughed it off. He sat across Gu Jiaoyue as an AI entered to bring them refreshments and treats. "Jiaojiao, keep this a secret. Im doing both what you said. By turning fiction to reality. That girl you saw before was my favorite in the real world, about two centuries in the past. Originally, she came from a fiction but I came to know the novel is actually an adaptation to a real life love story. So, it was like I transmigrated while travelling time."

"Your favorite...?" Gu Jiaoyue frowned.

"Mn. Her name is Hong Cha. And I like her very much. If only she doesn't belong to another world..." Gu Zixing flashed a remorseful emotion from his eyes. Gu Jiaoyue was stunned. It was rare for Gu Zixing to show any emotion. Even when Gu Zixing was almost killed when they were younger, he didn't show any sign of fear. Yet, sadly, Gu Zixing came to like someone from a fiction.

"You know..." Gu Jiaoyue stopped reminiscing and stared at Hong Cha. She blinked in confusion. "Zixing likes you very much he can do anything for you. But you, you cant even remember him. Or even place any effort to bring him back."
