"Good day, Master." the butlers and maids greeted once Xu Qin Rui arrived. He was not in a good mood so they lowered their heads. Xu Qin Rui entered without saying anything as Samuel and Miao Yun followed him. They glanced at each other with a worried look.

"Where's Lou Fencha?" he coldly asked a butler.

"Master Xu, why don't we have a therapy for tonight?" Miao Yun quickly said. She felt bad for Hong Cha since she have to deal with Xu Qin Rui.

"No need." Xu Qin Rui scoffed and went off to find Hong Cha. He went to the bar but she is not there. To the master bedroom, guestrooms, pool, all around the mansion. He ended up in the greenhouse. Elegant lamps were around the garden. Xu Qin Rui heard a humming nearby. His steps stopped in front of a Japanese maple tree. Its long vines extended to the ground and blossomed with enchanting flowers. He separated a part and stepped in.

Hong Cha paused her humming. She removed the headset on her and looked back to Xu Qin Rui. His expression eased before sighing deeply. Xu Qin Rui took a seat next to her and gazed upwards.

"You look tired. And bothered." Hong Cha focused on him while touching the leaves of the Middlemist Red.

"I hate her." he started. Their eyes locked as Hong Cha encouraged him to continue. "I hate my sister. She came to the empire state building and went on scolding me again. Im already old enough to make my own decisions. Why is she so meddling!"

"In my view, she's worried. Your parents died because of illegal connections and you are worse than them. She must be worried for your sake." she voiced out when Xu Qin Rui leaned on her shoulder. Hong Cha froze in place.

"If it weren't for her, things will be different." Xu Qin Rui was clearly displeased.

"I get where you're coming from. Im not innocent either and we both committed crimes. One day, I will pay for it. As for you, you're lucky you have a sister who works as an agent. She's giving you a chance to turn your back and change your ways." Hong Cha glanced at the flickering lanterns hanging on the branches. She noticed a figure standing outside the curtains of flowers. "Since when did you start hating your sister?"

"When she turned our parents to the authorities." his eyes darkened in his grim mood. "I mean, she could have spoken to our parents before deciding on what to do. Just because a person is bad, they have no redemption left? She could have turned our parents over the right path but she decided by herself. Our family wouldn't have been broken. The public wouldn't have disdained us. Our parents would have survived. I wouldn't have rebelled if she learns how to listen as well. All she thinks is about her stupid righteousness."

"Can you forgive her someday? Or is there any chance you can change your ways?" Hong Cha looked at him as Xu Qin Rui leaned off her.

"Keep this a secret, okay? If you don't, I'll make sure to get back on you." Xu Qin Rui threatened but he unexpectedly received a giggle. What is funny? Did he say something funny? With such thoughts, Xu Qin Rui's cheeks went flushed. He crossed his arms unhappily. "I can forgive her if she stops being so demanding, manipulative, selfish, and kept insulting me. If ever possible, I just want to see her care for me in a gentle way, not by force which she keeps doing. Furthermore, I cant do one thing for now. I cant just disband the organization I built."

"Xu Qin Rui, can I ask you something? Its quite personal and Im not sure you can take it calmly..." she lowered her head in nervousness. Xu Qin Rui took her hand and kissed the back gently.

"You can. I'll try to stay calm." he smiled back playfully. Hong Cha was stunned for a moment. Since when did they get this close or this harmonized?

"If you fall in love one day and that woman asks you to quit leading a mafia, will you do it for her?" Hong Cha wanted to know. In the plot, Xu Qin Rui didn't quit and kept using his connections to protect Sang Linlin. The female lead eventually accepted his dark side. His illegal connections made him and the female lead involved with each other. If she have to destroy the plot, she should focus on the main keys on how they developed their relationship.

"What?" Xu Qin Rui drew out a confused look before laughing. "Fall in love? I don't even know how that works. Of course, not. Only fools exchanged their power for a woman, heh. That is why ancient men with high authorities doesn't love their concubines or wives. There is no such thing as that."

"If you say so." Hong Cha smiled haughtily. He's overestimating himself. Xu Qin Rui fell in love to the female lead because of their constant meeting and understanding to each other. There is no way he will not love another woman except for the female lead. Just like Nian Xiaoyuan and Lin Xingjin. When they knew their loss, their guilt and grief opened up their hearts. Once Xu Qin Rui lost his unknown important possession, he will look for it.

From behind the Japanese maple tree, a lady in simple white dress stood there. Xu Qin Bing was listening to them. After their serious talk, her mean brother started annoying Hong Cha again. She turned her back, only to face Samuel.

"Madame, are you or are you not going to greet Sir Xu?" Samuel coldly asked. Xu Qin Bing smiled wryly and gave him a torn picture.

"Give it to him. Please persuade Rui'er not to go to Paris. If he continue his plan, I can no longer help him." Xu Qin Bing sighed heavily. All these years, she has been protecting Xu Qin Rui from her own department. Xu Qin Rui is a big threat to the government and they wanted to destroy him as soon as possible. However, because of her, she was able to destroy critical evidences against Xu Qin Rui.
