While on the way to the arcade.
"So Midoriya, what's up with the nicknames you guys have for each other?"
"Oh that, that's just something we do. He calls me Deku, but he doesn't mean it as an insult. The reason for that is the kanji for my first name – Izuku, can also be read as Deku. When we first met, he accidentally called me Deku, but over the years for us, the meaning has changed, and I let him call me that. I call him Kaachan because I couldn't pronounce his first name or his last name when we met. The names have stuck with us over the years."
"I also call him a nerd because of these nerdy books he maintains on heroes, vigilantes and villains alike. He loves to analyze quirks and is a complete sucker for them."
"Ya right, as if you don't fan over heroes as well, stupid blond Pomeranian."
Kaachan and I bicker back and forth for almost a minute when we are interrupted by a loud 'ahem' that originated from Uraraka. We quickly apologize, as she continues to question us.
"Also, what's with the moves you used on the other 2 back there?"
"Oh that, it was supposed to be a special move I developed but those two got knocked out before I could execute the move. Had the move been executed, they would have had a hole the size of my fist on their shirt. And we would have seen orange flames instead of green ones."
"Orange flames?"
"The nerd has different levels to his flames, the green ones are his base, he can use then casually without hurting himself. Aside from that, he can go orange, which is hotter than his green ones somehow, followed up by blue and white."
"That's interesting. So, what's your quirk Bakugou?"
"Mine allows me to let off explosions from my palms. It occurs because my sweat glands secrete a substance like nitro-glycerine instead of saltwater that I can ignite on my palms. Like his flames, I have explosions that differ in color based on the heat they give off, which in turn is dependent on the amount of sweat I produce."
"And here I thought I was the nerd, Kaachan." I slyly comment as I laugh.
"So Uraraka, what's your quirk. I mean we've told you about ours and you've seen my in action so what's yours?"
"Oh, mines not that great. It's called zero gravity; it allows me to negate the effects of gravity on an object I touch with all 5 fingertips. It's not really a great quirk offensively but I hope to become a great rescue hero like 13."
"Your quirk is amazing; I mean bending the laws of physics by negating the gravitational force on an object is a great ability to have in combat. I mean if you train in hand to hand combat, then all you would need I one touch and your opponent can float all the way to the upper atmosphere where he can die due to lack of oxygen, if that doesn't work reactivation the gravity on them will surely kill them. So, it is an amazing quirk Uraraka."
"Tch... nerd."
"O...oh th....thank y... you." she speaks up while blushing madly.
"So, you guys are nerds and geeks?"
"What the hell does that mean, Round-face??"
"R-Round Face!!!!!" Uraraka exclaimed.
"Ignore that, he has a habit of giving people nicknames based on their most striking attributes," I explained.
"O-Oh. Nothing just that you guys watch old animes, cuz I heard you guys talk about One Piece earlier."
"That is a form of training my uncle makes us do, we watch those shows to make our moves while we train. That's all. But how did you know that One Piece is an anime? Are you a geek as well, eh?"
"No. Maybe. Yes, yes, I am. My favorite one has to be Fairy Tail."
"Nice, we can have an anime binge-watching marathon someday. That is if you aren't a wimp Bound Face?"
"Oh, you're up, give me a date and a time, well see who lasts longer in the marathon, Bakagou."
"WHY YOU!!"
"Guys calm down, we've reached the arcade."
We spent a few hours at the arcade and head back home. along the way we got to know Uraraka more, we learned that she wanted to become a hero for 2 main reasons one was so that she could be like her cousin brother and help her family while the second was because she wanted to be a hero that not just helped people but also helped other heroes since the psychological wellbeing of a hero is very important.
We became surprisingly good friends while at the arcade to the point that it seemed that we were friends for our whole lives at that point. After a few hours at the arcade, we left to go home and we first drop Uraraka off cuz it's the nice thing to do then Kaachan and I head home knowing that we had made a new friend with a smile on our faces knowing full well that the 3 of us were in for the long haul.
We spent a lot of time going forward and became good friends. We literally spent whole days together. We also invited her to join Gunhead Sensei's dojo and asked if she could join us on our sparring session with Granpa Torino and Uncle Toshi.
By the time we were 12, her parents decided to permanently shift and live close to our school so that the 3 of us wouldn't be separated. They would often join Kaachan and mines families for lunch or dinner. We had a lot of fun together.
During the 2 years, Kaachan and I were friends with Uraraka, I had come to a conclusion that when it is time for me to reveal the secret of One for All (after I received it, obviously) and Enhance (After it manifested) I would definitely tell these 2 about it.
