Chapter 64 - One V One - Block B: Round 1 - Part 2

"For the next match, we have Uraraka Ochako from class 1-A against Sato Rikido also from Class 1-A. The match will begin in 10 minutes seeing as the arena needs some repairing and I need some sleep. If either participant does not show up by the time this alarm rings, they would have forfeited the match." Aizawa explains as he falls asleep on the table, not giving a care in the world.

In the stands, Izuku was sitting with Ochako. It was more like he was forced to sit with her as she tended to some of the burns he had.

"You know, one thing I don't understand." Izuku tells her wincing as she presses a gauze on his burns.

"And that is?"

"Monoma being able to copy my quirk." Izuku answers. "If Enhance is anything like dad's quirk, he shouldn't be able to copy it. Stockpile type quirks like it should come up as blank."

"Maybe Enhance isn't a stockpiling quirk then." Ochako tosses the gauze she was using and picks up a new one. "It is possible since we don't really know what gave rise to Enhance in the first place. Hold this." She points to the gauze on Izuku's forearm.

Izuku holds the gauze while ochako takes a bandage from the first aid kit. (It's her personal first aid kit because she knows Izuku or Katsuki will do something stupid. And I almost wrote bandage as bangade.)

"You have a point there. I'll ask dad about this. How's your preparation for your match?"

"I think I'll be fine; Sato might not be much of a problem once his time limit goes away. Plus, I've been working on something. You might like it!"

"Let me guess, it's a surprise?"

Ochako kisses him on the forehead and gets up to leave.

"All the best Ocha!!" Izuku shouts as Ochako exits the room, ready for her match.

Ochako stood at the entrance, waiting for Aizawa's alarm to ring.

'I really hope this new technique works!' Ochako thinks to herself as she mentally prepares for her match against Sato.

'Of course, that's the alarm!' Ochako rolls her eyes, looking up at Aizawa in the commentary box.

She walks to the newly built arena, with Sato walking in from the opposite direction.

"All the best Uraraka." Sato greets the girl.

"All the best to you too, Sato!" She greets back.

"Just so we're clear, don't expect me to hold back in the fight just cuz you're a girl." Sato warns her.

"Oh really. Well, I was planning to go easy on you, but I guess I don't have a choice now." Uraraka grins.

"Alright, we're about the start the 6th match in block B." Aizawa drones. "We have from class 1-A, Ochako Uraraka, and from class 1-A as well, Rikido Sato."

Ochako and Sato take positions on opposite sides of the arena getting ready for the signal to start.

"Uraraka, ready?" Ochako nods

"Sato, you ready?" Sato nods as well.

"Well, then fight!" Cementoss yells as Sato rushes at Ochako, with a hard right.

"Going all in right off the bat? Interesting strategy." Ochako exclaims as she bends under the punch. "But it won't work on me!" the punch hits the floor of the arena, making a big hole in it.
