Chapter 17 - Him

That year one of the happiest years of my life. Why? Well let's just say that the events of January 18th 3114 were the day hell had manifested in my life. And for the first time in those 12 years of my life I was scared. The day I truly felt fear. Why? Because He was here. Not one day had passed after that unfortunate day that I have slept without waking up in the middle of the night in cold sweat. If you're wondering why I was so scared, then let me tell you the events that transpired on that day.It was a usual day at school, we had a out end of term tests, so school ended early for all of us. when the bell rang kaachan, Uraraka and I walked out of school as usual. We dropped Uraraka home and then walked home together. It was usual for us, but I had a really bad feeling that rested in my stomach ever since the day began.

After dropping Kaachan home, I took a turn towards my home when I heard a loud boom from the direction of my house, I sprint towards my house as I see smoke rising in the distance. I sprint faster in the general direction of my house as soon as I hear a loud scream that sounded like my mother. 

I reach my house, only to see one half of the house blown away to the point that it felt that it never existed. I saw a man in a black suit and a Darth Vader-like mask on his face that was also black. He was using a lightning quirk to surround mom in a circle of white lightning while mom tried to use her quirk to pick the knives from the kitchen.

I decided to help her and summoned a ball of fire as threw it towards the man. Just as the fireball reached the man, he just flicked his hand causing the ball the dispel immediately.

As he notices me and turns his attention away from my mom.

My mom had seen me through the corner of her eye and shouts out to me, "IZUKU RUN GET SOME HELP."

The man who now had his full attention on me began to monologue, "Ohhh, Izuku Midoriya, the man of the hour, you have come just in time to watch your mom perish. You can save her though, agree to my deal and I will let her go. My terms are simple, give me your quirk and I will leave without doing any further damage to your mother or your house. Do we have a deal, Izuku?"

"Just who are you and why do you want my quirk? what have mom and I done to you ever?"

"Oh my bad, I am the symbol of chaos, All for One, and I need your quirk, not the shitty quirk you just used, I want One For All, your One For All, the one your grandmother gave to you. Give it to me and I will leave the 2 of you alone."

"Don't....... do...... it....... Izuku........., call...... him........... now......." my mom spoke while struggling to breathe

I quickly remove my phone from my pocket and speed dial, my uncle, the phone connects just as the masked man generated some wind pressure that blew me and my phone away.

"Bad choice, Izuku."

The masked man then raises his right hand as black and red tentacles come out of his fingertips. The tentacles extend towards me. I close my eyes bracing for impact, which never came as I feel myself being pulled away from the place I was. I open my eyes to see mom using her quirk to pull me away from the tentacles.

"Damn woman. That will be the last time you interfere!"

The masked man was clearly pissed. He turns to mom and lifts his left hand and places his hand on mom's head. She screams in pain as I watch her slowly disintegrate and turn into dust.

"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!" I shout, trying to get up.

He then turns back to me and starts to speak, "Spring-like limbs. Kinetic booster times 4. Strength enhancer times 5. Hypertrophy times 2. Rivets. Spear like bones. Muscle augmentation time 2. Multiplier. This, Izuku, is what I like to call the ultimate combination. All the strongest quirks I have taken over the years combined into one. And you, my friend, will be one of the lucky few who will be at the receiving end of this attack. Let's see if that hero spirit of yours helps you survive."

His hand now blown to seriously inhuman proportions. He cocks his hand back and just as the hand is about to hit me, a loud boom distracts him. I see my uncle as All Might standing in a huge crater.

I feel a smile creep onto my face as I see the 2 men stare at each other off. All might had worn his new suit. The Golden Age All Might Suit as Uncle David liked to call it. The last thing I remember as I was hit by a massive shockwave was seeing All Might's face, it had no smile on it.

<Toshi's POV>

A few minutes earlier.

The patrol was not interesting. I mean the crime rates in Central City, Hosu and Musutafu were low like always. The presence of the agencies of some of the top pro heroes was enough to drop the crime rates to the lower double digits.

I was just about to enter the agency when I saw Izuku calling me on my work phone. It was something I told them to do in case of an emergency. I pick the phone up and all I hear is Inko's scream.

I told Emily (the receptionist) to alert the hero agency of a code SS at the Midoriya household as I turn around and leapt towards the location.

I kept speeding up till I reached the house. Thankfully, I was just in time. I saw him standing in front of Izuku with a disproportionate arm. I realized what he was about to do and landed immediately as close as I could without hurting the kid.

I look around the house that had now become a battlefield looking for a sign of my sister. He had stopped his attack on Izuku and had now turned to face me.

I look at the kid and the fear and sadness in his eyes told me that something bad had happened to Inko. I hoped she was alive. I turned my attention to him, deciding not to let my worry for Inko's wellbeing show on my face. I knew he would use any and all means to weaken his foe. He even resorted to emotional means, calling out on the weakness of others and using it to his benefit.

"Ahhh... All Might so nice of you to show up. I was just waiting for you to arrive. I was just talking to young Izuku here. I had offered him a deal. His mother's life for his quirk. sadly, he decided to keep his quirk. you know I don't take no for an answer, so I simply killed his mother."

"WHY YOU WHAT DID THESE 2 DO TO DESERVE THIS? YOU HAVE THE LIVES OF THOUSANDS ON YOUR HANDS ALL FOR ONE AND TODAY IS THE DAY WHEN I TAKE YOU IN FOR ALL YOUR CRIMES, THE DAY WHEN YOU PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES AGAINST THE SOCIETY, AGAINST YOUR BROTHER AND THE PREVIOUS USERS OF ONE FOR ALL AND INKO."

"Ohhh. So, you knew the lady. Then I'm sure you must know who she was related to don't you. She is the daughter of your precious master Nana. The boy had the genes for One for All. I simply wish to take it for myself so we can end this age-old conflict."

"I WILL NOT LET YOU TOUCH THE BOY ALL FOR ONE. I AM ENDING YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL."

<Narrators POV>

All Might then launches himself at All for One, leading with a right-handed Detroit Smash. His attack was met with a punch from All for One who was using shock absorption, impact recoil, and muscle augmentation.

The resulting shockwave leveled the area in a 2-kilometer radius and knocking our protagonist out.

The 2 titans fought for hours at end, each doing irreparable damage to the other. All Might had destroyed All for One's face and had done extensive damage to his lungs and ribcage. While All for One used his black and red tentacles to puncture and destroy All Might's left lung and stomach, leaving the hero with a huge hole on the left side of his abdomen.

Izuku had been taken off the battlefield by Gran Torino as soon as the retired pro arrived at the site.

After the battle ended, purple wisps engulfed All For One's body and warped him away to an unknown location.

All Might was taken by the pros to the hospital where he underwent over 50 hours of surgery.

Izuku was unconscious for 2 weeks. The doctors that treated him believed that he would suffer mental trauma from watching his mother get disintegrate in front of him. They also found and treated him for blunt force trauma from the shockwave that knocked him out. The doctors were sure that he would suffer from PTSD when he wakes up and would require therapy for at least a few years going forward.
