Christine's pov
I opened my eyes and looked around. For a second, I forgot where I was. Then everything came back. And today is my first day in set. Okay Christine, time to get ready. I have to be on set at nine so I should leave by 8:30. I looked at the clock. 7:00. Great, an hour and a half to get ready. I got up, took a shower, put on a purple sweater, and dark jeans, and combat boots. I went downstairs and everyone was already bustling around the kitchen. "Morning Christine! Sit down I made breakfast." Mrs. Norman said so I sat at the table. Jace was across from me reading his script. "Last minuet memorizing?" I asked. "No! Yes." He said not looking up. I giggled and mrs. Norman gave me a plate of eggs and bacon. Bacon! The bacon was the first thing I ate. We finished getting ready and mrs. Norman drove jace and I to set. "Okay jace don't leave Christine in the dust. Make sure she knows what to do and when. I better not hear that she got lost." Mrs. Norman said as we pulled into the parking lot. "Yeah yeah mom. I got it." He said. We got out of the car. "Thanks for the ride mrs Norman!" I called as she drove away. "No problem! Have fun!" And with that she left. I turned around and looked at jace. "So we're do we go?" I asked. We went inside and past a bunch of sets. We ended up at a hallway with a bunch of doors. "These are the dressing rooms. And here is where we meet every morning." He opened a door and we went in. There were already people there. They all stopped talking and stared at me. Man I hate being the new girl! "Guys meet Christine Valentine. Christine meet Cooper Barnes, Riele Downs, and Sean Ryan Fox. " they stood up and shook my hand. "So your that girl from Maine?" Sean said. "So your the genius of the bunch?" I said playfully and he laughed. Riele walked over. "Hey I'm Riele. I play Charlotte." She said. "I'm Christine. I play Ella. So what are we doing right now?" I asked. "Well right now we're waiting for our last cast member then we'll go over the schedule. So you've never been on a set before? Like ever?" She asked. "Not even close. The closest I've come to being on tv was when I accidentally wound up in the commercial for the dark mountain cafe." I said and Riele laughed. I think she thought that I was kidding. A few minuets later a girl who looked to be about nine or ten walked in. "Christine this is Ella Anderson." I shook her hand. "I play Piper." She said. "I actually play Ella!" I said. Then someone came in a talked for a while about the day's schedule. Hen everyone except Riele and I left. At flat we just sat there talking for a while. Then she had an idea. "I wan to show you something, come on." She said. "Wait where are we going?" I asked. "You'll see." We ran out and through the sets. We came to. Set of metal stairs. We went up to a small platform where you could see all of the sets. "Whoa what is this?" I asked looking over everything. "Just something they use to watch over everything." I stared for a while until I heard someone call. Jace was down below calling for Riele. She ran down. I looked down and noticed a loose screw at my feet. It seemed to connect the stairs to the platform. I took a step towards it but then the screw fell. Crash! The stairs detached from the platform and crashed to the ground. Unfortunately that also held up one side of the platform so next thing I know the platform comes out from under my feet and I'm falling. I mange to grab the edge of the platform which still held on one side. I was dangling over the whole set. I looked down seeing if I could jump. It did not look like a pleasant landing. So there I was. Dangling like a toy on a string. Jace and Riele were calling me. "Help!" "Christine! Christine hold on!" Jace called. "No I'm gonna let go!" I called back sarcastically. I looked up and saw the remaining screws that held up the other half of the platform come lose. "Oh crap! No no no! This can not be happening! Help!" I yelled. "We'll call the fire department!" Riele called. "I seriously doubt we have time for years fire department!" I said. "Yeah by the time they get here she'll be a smudge on the concrete!" He said. "I heard that!" I yelled. Now everyone else had come and we're trying to figure out what to do. Meanwhile the screws got looser and looser...Jaces pov
I saw Riele and Christine on the platform. At down point I thought I heard someone say that it was unstable so I called Riele. She came down. "What?" She asked. "Are you sure it's safe to be up there? I heard someone say it was unsafe." "I didn't hear that. I thought it was fine!" Then the stairs came down and so did one half of the platform. She was barely holding on. Oh crap! Oh crap! She's gonna fall! Think jace think! "We don't have time to get her down. We have to find something for her to land on." I thought out loud. Everyone looked around. "What about those cardboard boxes?" Sean pointed. "That might work!" I said. "Might?! I'm going to need something a little bit better than might!" Christine called. We started grabbing boxes and throwing them to where she would fall. In a matter of minuets we had a huge pile of boxes. "Okay Christine, this is going to sound crazy, but you have to jump!" I yelled. "Jump?! Your right that does sound crazy!" She yelled back. "Look I know that you barley know me and you have no reason to, but you have to trust me! Do you trust me?"Christine's pov
Trust him? That's insane! "Alright fine I trust you!" However it didn't matter anyways because the last screws fell and the platform fell. I fell down and down. I felt myself land on boxes and then the heavy metal platform landed on top of me. Everything went dark.Jaces pov
I saw her fall. I ran to her. I dug through the boxes until I found her under the huge platform. I got Cooper and Sean to help me lift it off of her. She was unconscious and her forehead was bleeding a little. I picked her up and ran to the waiting area. We put her on the couch. We called the paramedics and they showed up. They said that it wasn't that bad and they didn't need to bring her to the hospital. The put a bandage on her head and some ice. Then we waited.Christine's pov
I opened my eyes. Everything was really bright. When my eyes focused I saw Jace and Riele and and Sean and Cooper and Ella standing over me. "See? I knew she wasn't dead! You owe me five bucks Ella!" Sean said. "What? What happened?" I asked. Then I remembered everything. I started laughing. Everyone looked at me funny. "Um are you sure she doesn't have a concussion?" Jace asked the paramedics. "No! No! Im fine! It's just that that was so much fun! And they usually have stunt doubles for this kind of stuff but here I am!" I dot know what I found so funny. But then I think everyone else was laughing because I was laughing. I sat up and I felt my head and the bandage. "Ow! What the- I'm not going to finish that sentence!" I said. "Good idea!" Cooper said. "Okay so are you like accident prone or something?" Jace asked. "Well yeah. If anything can go wrong around me it will!" I laughed. "So I've seen." He said. "Whatever! So are we actually going to get some work done today or what?" I asked. We all went our different directions. I went to get into my evil costume, then I did some rehearsal and shooting. By the time it was lunch my head was spinning. It felt good being busy, but it was so exhausting! I went to the lunchroom and got a BLT, chips, and a root beer. I saw everyone at a table and so I went and sat next to jace. He smiled at me. Man he looks cute! Wait, what? Shut up Christine! Don't be ridiculous! There's no way he's into you! Or is he? My thought were interrupted by Sean. "What do you think Christine?" He asked. "Uh what?" I said. They laughed. "Do you want to come with us to go ice skating later?" He asked. "Uh yeah sure. Sorry I'm a bit of a space case!" I said. By the time lunch was over I realized that I hadn't touched my sandwich. I ended up throwing it away. I couldn't get my mind off of jace! Every time he even looks at me its like we have a connection. I don't even know if I'm crazy or what. But what if?
