Chapter 5

"Liana I am prepared to give you the next two days off with pay. How does that sound," Jeremy said.

Liana is puzzled. That can clearly be seen on her face. "Um I guess that sounds nice but it's a strange offer. Am I doing that horrible here?"

"Of course not. You're doing a great job here. I couldn't ask for a better employee."

She's relieved. She thought for a second she was about to get fired. "Then what's the two free days for."

"Dylan has sent me in here to ask you if you'd like to accompany him on a business trip. He's going to be visiting a school along the way and he's in a need of a translator again for that. Are you up for it."

Two whole days with the hottest swimmer there is. The same guy she's crushing on. This doesn't sound like a good idea. She might get real feelings for him. Some that he probably won't return.

"Yeah that sounds pretty awesome to me," she found herself saying. She sucks at saying no, one her biggest weaknesses.

Chelsea came back to the front desk shortly after that.

"My dad just told me about your early vacation with Dylan."

"It's not a vacation. It's a business trip. This is strictly professional." She couldn't help but to smile when she said that. Even to her own ears it sounds ludicrous.

"You should pack your best clothes and some sexy lingerie," she smirked. "Trips like this only go one way."

"I'm trying to tell you that it won't. I'm sure he has a publicist or someone else that will be coming for the ride. He'll keep it professional."

"Whatever you say, you're probably right anyway. I just like to twist everything into a romantic type situation."

"Usually I do the same thing. I can't do that right now though because I'm to busy trying to keep this job."

"I already told you that you just have to be undercover with everything you do. My dad made up that stupid rule about dating but he doesn't really check into it. He's to busy."

"How about we stop thinking about that and you tell me about the wonderful night you texted me about."

Chelsea's eyes lit up and she sat back dreamily in her chair. "Me and Vince went on a date last night."

"How was it," she excitedly clapped.

"It was amazing. I know that when we started our relationship, neither one of us thought that it would ever become serious. We were just looking for fun."

"Now it's something more."

"Yes! We talked all night at the restaurant until it closed. He took me home at 1 o'clock this morning. I couldn't sleep at all after that. It seems that he couldn't either. He called me an hour later and told me that he missed me. I'm running on two hours of sleep for today."

"Aw," Liana cooed. "You guys are so cute."

Chelsea smiled. "I think that we are official now."

"I'm thinking the same thing."

"We're going out tonight again. I can't wait."

"You should talk to him then about defining your relationship."

"Isn't it to early for that?"

"Of course not. You guys have had sex, went on a date, and talked on the phone all night. This is the perfect time to do it."
