Part 11

"Now it's time to claim my prize, my wish is for Yuqi to kiss me"

My jaw dropped and Yuqi smirked walking pass me and kissed Seokmin. I stood there, frozen for a few seconds, until I came back to my senses and turned around. I quickly left the room not wanting to see any more.

I can't believe it! Seokmin the guy who I liked kissed another girl and I even thought he liked me back.

I made my way out still holding myself together and breathed in the outside air. Thank God I left when I did, otherwise I would have broken into tears with everyone seeing. What do I do now?

'Where are you?' Mingyu texted me.

'I'm going out for some air and I want to be alone for a while' I replied.

There was no way I was staying here, not after seeing the most angelic man, who I liked, kiss another person.

As I walked down the drive out of there loud footsteps of someone walking quickly caught up to me.

"Do you want to get bubble tea?" Dino asked, now walking beside me.

He gave a light smile, even though I looked at him as if the world had ended.

"There's a good place I know nearby, it'll be open still, that's if you want to go" he said with as much sincerity as his smile.

"Okay" my weak voice just about managed.

Dino led the way to the bubble tea shop which didn't take long to get to. The place was a brightly lit corner shop with no other customers in. Dino opened the door for me and we walked to the counter.

"I'll have an iced americano and y/n will have a strawberry bubble tea with extra ice" Dino said. Wait he knows my go to bubble tea order?

We paid and sat in a corner next to a heater. "It's really quite cold tonight" he said trying to make small talk.

I murmured in agreement and carried on thinking about the recent event. How was I going to face Seokmin at school? I really thought we had something going, but apparently not for him.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Dino asked.

It was probably best to, since keeping my emotions inside was practically tearing my head apart.

"Yeah I would like that" I replied and told him every emotion I had felt with Seokmin and how I felt now. Talking with Dino really put me at ease, knowing he wouldn't hurt me and had my best interests, it was hard not to tell him everything.

"And so now I'm confused about what to do now" I finished, after half an hour of chewing at his ear.

Dino took his hands from under the table and put them above. Then he took my hands which were clenching my drink and put them in his. He started to caress them as if to calm me down.

"I know this might not mean anything to you, but it's gonna be alright. Remember, you have people who will support you and anytime you need me I will be there, okay?" Dino said.

I nodded taking in his words.

"Thank you, it means a lot" I croaked, as tears started to fall.

After spending a while chatting in the cafe Mingyu and Wonwoo came to pick me up to go home.

The words Dino had said were engraved in my mind. Just knowing he was there for me put me at ease and soon I fell asleep tired from all the emotions.
