Meredith Grey was officially the most adorable person alive. He had been suspicious of the fact for a couple of weeks now, when she blushed slightly at a compliment, when hse giggled at something he said. He had started to think that maybe she was the cutest person alive. But now that she was annoyed with him and trying to get her way, it was definitely official. No one alive was cuter than Meredith.

"We're not watching Basic Instinct or whatever," she groaned, shaking her head quickly.

"And we're not watching one of your silly romances," Derek sighed.

"I didn't say we had to watch a romance," she rolled her eyes as she dug through the movie collection, Sophie sitting next to her. "But I'm not watching some crap guy movie."

"You do know that the last time it rained you guys picked the movie," Derek frowned. "Isn't it our turn?"

"Not the point," Sophie sighed.

"I think it should be the point," Brian groaned. "Derek, just move her out of the way. She's tiny."

"Brian Scott Thompson," Sophie frowned.

"What?"

"Maybe I'll just push you out of bed tonight."

"You would not."

"Do you really want to take your chances?"

"Fine, Shep, don't move her."

"Nice, Soph," Meredith giggled as and Sophie continued looking through the movies. Derek couldn't help but grin as he watched her. She was dressed in sweats and one of his t-shirts, and it swallowed her tiny frame. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail, still wet from their walk in the rain earlier. He didn't think he had ever seen anyone looking more adorable in his life.

"Can you at least try to be nice to us?" he asked her, pouting as she looked over his shoulder at him. He just wanted a movie to be picked so she could be back in his arms. She felt really good in his arms and the look of determination on her face made him want to kiss her again.

"Only if you're nice to us," she teased, her eyes shining at him. One week. They had been spending every waking moment together for one week, and already he was beginning to wonder if he was ever going to get tired of it. He guessed not. She was too amazing. Too beautiful. Even if they were taking things slow, even if they still hadn't had a proper kiss, he didn't think he'd change a thing.

"Have I ever been anything but nice to you?" he frowned.

"You're not being nice right now."

"Have I moved you?"

"Not yet."

"And I'm not. Just...hurry up."

"The Notebook!" Sophie exclaimed.

"The....what?" Derek frowned.

"It's a movie," Meredith sighed. "That Sophie is completely obsessed with."

"Does that mean we have to watch it?"

"Definitely," Sophie grinned, turning to put the movie in. "It's amazing."

"Are we going to think it's amazing?" Brian frowned.

"Probably not," Meredith giggled. "It's...cheesy. And sad. And cheesy."

"Oh god," Derek groaned. "Mer...suggest something else. She'll listen to you."

"Not when it comes to The Notebook."

"Some use you are."

"Oh, thanks, Der," Meredith rolled her eyes as she grabbed the bowl of popcorn from him.
