The giggle was going to drive Derek mad. It was the second day of non stop rain and he was already stir crazy. Not because he didn't like being stuck inside, not because it wouldn't stop raining long enough for him to go on a walk, but because his baby sister had suggested a movie. A comedy. And now Meredith couldn't stop giggling, and it was driving him mad.

He had no idea what was happening on the screen. He had made a point of sitting on the other side of the room from her. He was far enough away that he was't anywhere near her, but angled so he wasn't looking at her. He thought it would be safe. But now she was giggling and he couldn't concentrate on anything but the soft giggle that was filling the room. He didn't even care about the movie.

She was sitting on the couch, a bowl of popcorn between her and Sophie. She was wearing those damn jeans again, this time with a sweater that barely touched the top of her jeans. Not that he had noticed that, he hadn't. He wasn't looking at her. Not after another near kiss yesterday. But now that she was giggling like that, non stop giggling, he couldn't help but turn his head.

She looked happy. He loved when she looked happy. She was gorgeous with a frown but the second she smiled, it was like her face came alive. Or something came alive. He wasn't even sure it was but there was something about the smile, the way her eyes lit up. He could actually just sit and listen to her giggle. Which was crazy. It was completely crazy to want to listen to her giggle.

Her giggle was his favorite thing about her. Even if it was driving him mad, even if he couldn't stop hearing it, even when she wasn't around, even if it was forcing him to look at her, it was his favorite thing about her. But he couldn't have a favorite thing about her. He couldn't think about how beautiful she was when she laughed. He needed to concentrate on the movie, or the way Brian had his arm around Sophie's shoulders.

He hadn't said anything. He shouldn't say anything. Meredith had told him about it because she thought he should know but she had trusted him not to do anytihng. And he had no idea how to break that trust. Meredith would be angry at him, and then she would stop giggling. Somehow that sounded like the worst thing she could do. She'd be angry and she'd stop giggling.

"Woah, woah!" Mark shouted. "That's not true, is it?"

"No, of course not," Meredith shook her head quickly, before bursting into another fit of giggles.

"Definitely not," Sophie giggled. "Women definitely don't lie about a man's penis size."

"That doesn't sound convincing," Brian frowned.

"Why would we lie?" Meredith giggled again.

"We would never lie," Sophie shook her head.

"Is it true?" Mark frowned. "Do you tell every guy the same thing?"

"We can't actually tell you that," Meredith shrugged.

"Grey, the coy thing is hot, and I promise you don't even have to try to flirt with me, but I'm going to need the truth here."

"Mark, we can't," Meredith sighed.

"So you do?" Mark asked, his eyes wide.

"No," Meredith giggled and then buried her face in her hands.

"Definitely not," Sophie laughed, leaning closer into Brian. "If we tell a guy his penis is absolutely huge, we mean it."

"I'd hope so," Brian frowned.

"Why are you obsessed, Markie?" Meredith giggled.

"I'm not obsessed," Mark frowned. "I just...chicks honestly do that?"
