The two of them were standing there awkwardly, waiting for the popcorn to finish doing its thing in the microwave.
To add on to the second-hand embarrassment, they could hear the teasing by their friends.
They didn't know what to do. To reduce their embarrassment, Xander shouted from the kitchen, pretending everything was fine.
"We can hear you guys from here" Xander shouted, hoping they heard it.
"That's the point. Also, why are y'all talking shouldn't you guys be kissing now?" Jose 'shot back' at Xander, making Xander lost for words.
Eva just turned more red, even redder than a tomato. She was beyond speechless.
Just then, the microwave produced a beeping sound which saved the awkward tension between them. They quickly filled up seven bowls, one for each of them and headed back to the sofa.
"Well that was long enough" Joseph said as he received the bowl from Xander.
Xander squinted his eyes, looking at Joseph angrily, as a joke.

"Your welcome" Xander said sarcastically before taking a seat at the couches, next to Eva.
They resumed the movie, Raya and the last dragon. It was a movie the group had been wanting to watch for a long time.
At around 12, the group had long fallen asleep, and only the noises from the television were still awake.
