Fog covered the entirety of the forest as deer pranced around without utmost care. Under a tree were two people with wings. One with wings as black as the night, and the other with wings as white as snow. The two having a conversation under the shade of the tree, watching the nearby lake which had deer drinking water. It was their favorite place to get away from their horrible life of fighting for something they both never wanted to be apart of.

"What do we do now?" asked the one with the black wings. The one with the white wings shifted in their position and hugs the latter in response. "I have no clue really..." As the one with black wings shifted closer to the other. They both knew that one of them can't make out of this alive. "I don't want to return to Vatican." The one with black wings shifts again, this time burying their head unto the other's chest. "And I don't want you to die." The one with white wings answered. They do not want to live the rest of their lives alone.

"I'll return, don't worry." The one with black wings assures the other and the latter lets out a tear. "I promise you, I'll return to you. Even if it means that I'll have to fight the whole world to do so." The one with black wings proclaims and the other chuckles from the statement. Practically due to it being stupid and also being impossible. "It's a promise then?" The one with white wings asks and the latter nods.

The two stayed in each others warmth for awhile before leaving. The plan has to start, they've stalled it for too long now. As the two are back at their respective places, they both wonder. Is the thing they're both fighting for worth it?
