Chapter 8

You grab a cart and begin walking up and down the aisles. Ben is scowling, and you roll your eyes. Such a drama queen.

"Hurry up." He says, a few paces in front of you.

"Slow down." You retort.

He mumbles something under his breath, and you let out a sigh.

The rest of the shopping trip goes relatively well, aside from Ben not talking to you the entire time.

Same with the drive home, and carrying the groceries inside. The first time Ben speaks is in the kitchen where everyone is.

"I'm going out tonight."

"Where?" Han asks.

"I have a date." He responds casually.

"That's great!"' Your mom says.

You, however, frown. He cockblocks you, then gets you off, but gets to go on a date? It's totally unfair, and there is no way you're going to stay home tonight while Ben goes out and does who knows what.

"Oh, by the way, the kids are throwing a party, they invited you." Han says to you.

Jackpot. "Great!"

"Ben can drive you."

The last thing Ben wanted to do was be a fucking taxi service for your annoying ass, but here he is, driving you to Poe's house. Poe. He doesn't trust you to be alone with him, last time you were horny you threatened to go find him. Even though Ben has told you that Poe is a total player, it looks like you don't care.

Not that Ben cares. To him, you're just an annoying pain in the ass he has to deal with. When Ben pulls up to Poe's house, to your surprise, he turns off the car and gets out too.

"What the hell are you doing?" You ask.

"What does it look like?" He responds.

You roll your eyes and walk up to the front door.

Poe opens up the door with his signature grin. He smiles and says hello to you, and then turns to look at Ben.

"Ben! I didn't expect to see you here!"

Ben shrugs, and you both walk in. 

Inside, you see all of the people who were at the party for your parents. Rey, Rose, Finn, and Poe, of course. However, there are a few more people this time. You're introduced to Kaydel, Paige, who is Rose's sister, Jannah, Jessica, and you hear people talking in the kitchen, but don't know who they are. Ben looks around, then at his watch and sighs. He's supposed to be meeting the girl in 10 minutes, but he doesn't want to leave you to whore yourself around.

You leave him in the dust to go talk to the girls, and Ben decides to leave. You're not all over Poe, who is talking to another girl so you'll probably be fine. Probably.

You get along relatively well with the other girls, but after a while you get thirsty so you head to the kitchen. There are a few guys hanging around there, handsome guys, to be exact. One does stand out to you. His skin is a dark olive colour, and his hair is undercut on the sides and curly on top. His body is fit, you can tell even through his t-shirt and jeans.

"Um, hi." You say nervously to the group, three to be exact.

The handsome guy nods his head ever so slightly and the other two leave. If you weren't feeling nervous before you definitely are now.

"Hey. Haven't seen you around here before."

"Oh, I just moved here. I'm Ben's step sister."

"Ben, huh. Is he here?"
