Hey everyone (:

So here is chapter 10, its not an extremly long chapter but at least its something right? I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and Happy New Year! OH MY GOD I CANNOT BELIVE IT'S 2013 ALREADY!!! Anyway moving on I would like to say happy birthday to the beautiful and perfect Eddie Redmayne. Yes I know he's not going to see this but anyway. I still don't understand how that sexy face is 31 today I mean come on, that is one well-kept 31 year old.. not saying 31 is old it would just be nice if he was 16 or 17 or 18...

Anyway enough of my rambling, sorry for any mistakes I haven't proof-read this chapter

HADLEY’S POV

It’s been a two weeks since Joel moved back and started school. Having another friend at school has made the time pass quicker and so much more enjoyably. I’m not sure why but ever since Joel turned up I have been getting quite a few stares from people, some of jealousy, some of disgust and then there’s just the blank ‘what-are-you-doing-now’ stares. I have no idea why my life has become a great part of the social gossip circle. It’s not like I’m anything special, I’m Hadley Spencer, the girl I have always been.

“HAAAAADDDLEEEY!!!!!” I hear my name being screamed from downstairs. “JOOOOEEEEEL!!!!” I yell with the same level of enthusiasm. “Can I come in?” Joel says, now standing behind my door. “Hold on give me a second.” I say fixing my red skater skirt and quickly pulling my white top on. “You can come in” I call and my door opens slowly. “Jo-Jo!” I say happily when he walks in. “I told you to stop calling me that.” Joel grumbles and I laugh while finding socks and my white converses to put on. “Seriously Hadley, you take forever to get ready.” Joel says impatiently and I just scoff at him. After tying up my hair and then deciding to leave it loose, I am ready to go. “Finally!!!” Joel exclaims excitedly and I playfully hit his shoulder.

“Tyla do you even know where to go?” I ask my brother who is currently driving aimlessly through the suburbs of Sydney. “Yes Hadley, we are almost there.” Tyla is driving Joel and I to a party, but it seems that we are getting further away every second instead of closer.. After 15 more minutes of driving Tyla finally pulls up in front of a house with blasting music and Joel and I jump out of the car waving goodbye to him at the same time. “Okay lets go!” I say eagerly walking into the party, little do I know that this will be one eventful night.

Joel and I have been at the party for two hours and everything was pretty good. It felt good to just loosen up and not care for a change. “Hadleeeeyyyyy, is that yooouuuuu?” Someone says very happily behind me and I turn around to see Calum standing there with his arm around an unfamiliar, pretty girl. “Caaaal Caaaal!” I call back and run up to hug him. “So whose your friend.” I whisper in Calum’s ear with a wink. “Hadley this is Caitlin, Caitlin this is Hadley.” Calum introduces us and I am a little confused. I vaguely remember Calum talking about a girl that he thought was absolutely amazing but I am sure her name was Chelsea or something like that. I shrug it off and say hello to Caitlin and we talk for a bit. By this time Joel has walked off somewhere so I decide to go and dance for a bit. Walking up to the massive mosh pit I see a familiar face jumping up and down so I run up and jump on his back.. I may have forgotten I have a skirt on s I quickly get down again. “Hey Hadds!” Luke says smiling widely at me once he turns around. “Oh Hadds, this is Emma, Emma this is Hadley.” Luke introduces me to a girl standing on his right. “Oh hey Emma.” I say smiling at her, but something in me makes me want to run away and cry instead. Why? What is wrong with me? Shaking off the feeling I start jumping around to music but something doesn’t feel right, I’m not in the mood anymore. Sensing something is wrong Luke looks at me with concern and I just shake my head telling him not to worry. After dancing for another five minutes I leave the mosh pit to get some air. I find a group of unoccupied chairs and sit down on one of them. Thoughts running through my head, while I try to sort out my feelings. I couldn’t be jealous of Emma could I? I mean come on, I just met her and more over there’s nothing going on between Luke and I. In all honesty I’d spent more time with Ashton then Luke lately.

About an hour later i am still sitting by myself on the same chair when I start to feel like someone is watching me. No not watching, scrutinizing. Fear washes over me and I stand up to go over to the area of the party that is overflowing with people.

“What leaving so soon?” A voice says eerily behind me and it’s a voice that will forever be stuck in my head. With hesitation I turn around to a face that I know, oh-so-well. Without thinking I let out a blood-curdling scream and know that there’s no point in trying to run, it’s too late.
