I am so, so, so, so, sorry it's taken me so long to update again. You all have permission to shoot me... Actually no don't do that.. Anyway I have some excuses, I went to Macau for a about 2 weeks, then I came back and had 2 dance exams and I still have 2 to go and I've had so much school work... I know, I know not good enough, but it's true I promise!!! But on a brighter note here is chapter 7. YAAAY FINALLY!! It's not my best chapter but I thought I was well and truly time for another update. I hope you like it and sorry for any mistakes (:

My alarm goes off with today's song and I stir around my bed until remembering Luke's text from last night. My hands shoot out from under the blanket to grab my phone off the charger. The lights illuminate my dark curtain drawn room and a feeling of disappointment swirls around in my stomach as I see the only messages I have are from Ava. With a sigh of dejection I get out of bed and walk into my bathroom to get ready for school. Ugh school. I have never hated school before, but this feels pretty close to it.
"You ready to go?" Tyla asks me as I walk down the stairs with my bag. "Yeah hold on let me grab an apple first." I say and go to the fridge. Just as I open the door I feel Tyla's arms pulling me in for a hug. "Are you okay Hadds?" He asks with concern. "I've been better, but I've also been worse..." I sigh and shake my head. "Hey you know what, go get changed." Tyla says suddenly. "Huh why?" I ask with confusion. "You deserve a break, we're going out for some bonding time." He says pushing me out of the kitchen and to go and get changed. "Okay, okay, but you're calling the school pretending to be dad, oh and where are mum and dad?" I ask. "Yeah whatever, they left early this morning for some work meeting." He says and goes to call the school. Mum and dad both work together, so most often they leave and come back at the same time.
I rush up the stairs now excited for the day and change into my maroon shorts, black top and black flat ankle boots with laces. I grab my bag, putting all of my necessary things inside of it and my black Ray Bans on my head, before returning downstairs. "Ready Ty." I call and he walks into the lounge room. "Okay let's go." Tyla says picking up his keys and walking outside with me in tow. "So where are we going?" I ask curiously. "You'll see." Is all he replies with. Tyla turns the music on and we sit in a comfortable silence for most of the drive. I pull out my phone to play a game and see I have one new message.

I read the text and somehow this small message manages to make me smile.

I press send and hum along the tune of the song playing. Not even one minute goes by and my phone lights up again.

We keep texting each other for a while longer, but Tyla stops the car and I look out to see where we are. "OH MY GOD I REMEMBER THIS PLACE!!! I squeal happily and Tyla just laughs at me as I bound out of the car. I look up at the sign that reads 'Dino's Diner' and it brings back so many memories. Mum and dad always used to bring Tyla and I here as kids, we were regular customers who knew all of the staff and the staff all knew us. "I can't believe it still looks the same, it's been so long." I say in astonishment and Tyla agrees with me.
I look around at the walls and seats and everything still looks the same as what I remember. "My, my, Hadley, Tyla, is that you?" I hear the voice of an older woman ask us and I turn around to see Fay standing there with a big smile on her face. "FAAAAY!!" I yell and run up to her and give her a huge hug. "My word look how big both of you are now." Fay says looking at both Tyla and myself. Fay has worked at Dino's since we started coming here years ago, and she is pretty much like a second mother to us. We spend a good two hours catching up with Fay and the rest of the staff that we know, before Tyla says it's time to go.
"Aw I've missed that place so much." I say to Tyla while sitting down in the car. "I know, it's been ages since we last went there." He says and starts the car. "So where now?" I ask. "I dunno. Where do you want to go?" He says and the rack my brain for ideas. "I have no idea." I say finally. "Do you just want to go to the city?" Ty asks. "Yeah sure, let's go." I say and then have an idea. "Hey Ty, can I invite a few people? You can bring Mia if you want?" I ask. "Yeah sure, okay I'll give her a call. While Tyla picks up his phone I get mine out and dial Luke's number. After three rings he picks up.
Luke: "Hello?"
Me: "Hey Luke, it's Hadley."
Luke: "Oh hey, what's up?"
Me: "I'm going into the city with Tyla and was just wondering if you and the boys wanted to come?"
Luke: "I'd love to but we can't get out of school without our parents calling up..."
Me: "Oh okay... Oh wait Tyla can call if you want?"
Luke: "Okay is that alright? And I'll call Ash and let him know."
Me: "Yeah that's fine and okay thanks, we'll pick you up from your school, wait what school do youse go to?"
Luke: "You know Norwest?"
Me: "Yeah I think so..."
Luke: "Okay and I'll get Ashton to come here."
Me: "Okay see you soon."
With that said I hang up the phone and tell Tyla what's happening. "Okay and Mia is going to meet us in the city." He says and I reply with a simple "Okay."
"Hey boys!" I smile as Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton get into the car. "Lucky this is a seven seater eh?" Tyla says and we drive off. "So what are doing?" Calum says right from the back of the car where the boys made him sit alone, much to his dismay. "Not sure really.." I say honestly.
The rest of the car ride went by and soon we are walking around in the city waiting for Tyla to get Mia from where she is waiting. "Can we please get ice-cream?" Michael says trying to pull a puppy dog face but failing quite miserably. "Hahaha sure, let's go!" I laugh as Tyla and Mia walk back. "We're getting ice-cream." I say happily and Tyla nods.
After we finish ice-cream, Tyla and I decide to split up, Tyla with Mia and me with the boys. "So we'll meet up here later, call me okay." Tyla says and walks off. "Okay so where now?" Luke asks. "Umm... Oooh oooh can we go in there?" I ask pointing to a new dress shop. "Ughh fine." Ashton says and they all follow me in.
"So which one?" I ask the boys holding up a short black dress with a low back and a short aqua flowy dress. "Why don't you just try them on?" Luke says, I think they just want to leave the shop as soon as possible. "Alright hold on." I say and enter the dressing room. I pull the black dress on and turn around in the mirror trying to get a better look myself.
"Yes or no?" I call, stepping out of the dressing room only to see quite possibly the funniest thing in front of me. "HAHAHA WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I say in fits of laughter. Standing in front of me are five boys in numerous pieces of women's clothing, parading around the shop like it is the most normal thing ever. I can tell this will be one eventful shopping trip.
