It was finally time to leave the valley and Y/n felt nervous. It was November 18th and in two days, she had to impersonate Princess Catherine. The boys and she had spent an entire week in the valley training for the exact moment under the guidance of the Grand Master. But now that the day was so close, she didn't feel like she could do it.
"Hey, you okay?" Jungkook's arm wrapped around her shoulder, worry lacing his tone.
"Yeah, just a bit nervous," Y/n replied, plastering a smile. She had felt the dynamic of their relationship change during the week they had spent together as a couple and she didn't know what to feel about it. She liked him, no doubt and the relationship didn't bother her. What bothered her was if she was ready to commit her heart to him for a very long time without breaking in the process because she was sure falling for him fast.
"Don't be," He replied, hugging her close to his chest, "We're all here for you."
She could only hug him back in response.
------------
"Thank you for your help, Grand Master," Y/n said to the old man that afternoon, ready to go back to Aurora, "we appreciate everything you have done for us."
The boys and she bowed to the wise man who blessed them.
"Remember, children," He said, "the path you have chosen is full of thorns and rain but at the end of it, a bright future is waiting for you. Do not lose hope."
"Yes Master," they said in unison.
"Y/n," Grand Master turned to her and held out a small vial filled with clear liquid, "take this. This is a special potion made from the herbs in this valley and has the power to heal the most fatal wounds. However, it is only enough to be used once so use it wisely."
"Thank you," Y/n took the vial from him and bowed, before placing it in the pocket of her coat.
"I just hope that Princess Aria and Prince Ali will show up and kill King Seth before we die, haha," Hoseok chuckled awkwardly, obviously nervous and scared.
"No," Grand Master suddenly said, narrowing his eyes, making everyone look at him in confusion.
"Did I say something wrong?" Hoseok whispered to Jin beside him who shrugged his shoulders.
"Princess Aria will not kill the king." The old man said, surprising everyone.
"What?" Yoongi asked. "Then who--"
"It has to be Y/n. Or there is no future." He said.
Y/n's eyes widened in response and everyone went silent. What did he mean that there will be no future?
Before anyone could ask him, the man got up abruptly and went inside the house. Elizabeth faced them with an apologetic look on her face.
"He needs to sleep, I'm sorry but he won't be able to help you anymore." She said before turning on her heel and following him inside.

"Jungkook?" Taehyung entered the room, seeing Jungkook leaning against the window, deep in thought. They had returned to the house late in the evening and the others had already went to sleep, exhausted.
The younger turned around, giving him a small smile as Taehyung stood beside him.
"What's wrong? You look worried." He said.
"It's nothing, Hyung. I'm just nervous." Jungkook said, lying easily through his teeth but Taehyung knew better. As far as he knew Jungkook, the guy would be anything but nervous. Y/n had reciprocated his feelings but for the entire week, Taehyung had only seen the worry behind the mask of happiness on his face.
"Don't lie." He said sternly, "I know you."
Jungkook sighed. "You know why I came here, right?"
Taehyung nodded. "I know. Looking at the events, it may turn out to be advantageous for you."
"I don't know Hyung," Jungkook said, poking the inside of his cheek with his tongue. "You know what the Grand Master said about the marriage right?"
"That the Prince of Scintilla would have to marry Princess Aria? Yeah, I know."
"You know who I am, right?" Jungkook cried, albeit careful not to wake Jimin up who was sleeping, "I am--"
"The Prince? Yeah." Taehyung interrupted him, "after Princess Aria takes over the throne, we'd be able to go back to Scintilla and you can become king and keep your identity a secret. What's wrong?"
"The prophecy--"
"Look, Jungkook. I am your Chief Advisor and also your best friend. The prophecy says you'll die only if your identity is made public. If that happens, you can't avoid the marriage. But if it doesn't, it wouldn't matter, after all the prophecy is about your fate not Princess Aria's."
He grabbed Jungkook's shoulders, squeezing them in reassurance before continuing, "Besides, we came here to make sure your identity remains confidential while I talk Princess Aria out of this marriage."
Jungkook nodded. "You're right, Hyung. Our main goal is to meet the Princess."
"Yeah," Taehyung smiled and dropped his arms from his shoulders, yawning. "I'm gonna go catch up on sleep."
Jungkook gave him a small smile. He felt reassured after his talk with Taehyung but couldn't get the thought that he'd have to choose between Y/n and his kingdom one day out of his head. He wasn't sure if he was ready to let go of either of them.

In the palace, King Seth sat on his throne, sipping wine as he read the parchment in his hand.
"Are you sure?" He asked, his voice silky yet resonating his authority.
"Yes, Your Majesty." His messenger replied, knelt down on the ground in front of the king. "Suspicious activity has been confirmed in the Valley of Alchemy although our spies were not able to locate the people involved."
"Hmm," The king mumbled, a mischievous smile lingering on his lips.
He dismissed the messenger who scrambled away. Seth rested his back against the majestic throne of Aurora, running his fingers on the armrests.
"Prince Ali," He muttered to himself, chuckling lowly, "why do I feel this has something to do with you?"
He got up and walked out of the room, taking small but fast strides, a calculating look on his face. He smirked, knowing that Prince Ali had dared to challenge him and he couldn't wait to send Ali to where he belonged--with his family in hell.
