Chapter 17

[Embark on a journey]

The memory lane is such a weird thing. Sometimes the more you remember the more you forget and the harder you try to remember the easier for you to be lost.

Namjoon is quite sure Taehyung has ever told him something about his family, but why can't he remember?

After some research, Namjoon finds out the director, Kim Taeyang, had many jobs in the past. He took a lot of part time jobs too. He worked as a cashier, a waiter, a bartander, and changes job quiet often. He was a rookie actor before he becomes a director. He starred in a movie with a title 'Goodnight world', a psychological thriller movie that talks about a man who tries to save his girlfriend from her own abusive parents.

Still, it doesn't explain why Mr. Kim has a lot of numbers. Everything is not making any sense at all. Some of the movie he directed, however, are horror movies.

His most famous work is The gentle camellia, aired in 2012. Namjoon watched the movie while he was trying to dig some information of Mr. Kwon, and he understands why the movie was so famous in the past. The movie was disturbing and horrifying. Every aspects that makes a horror movie, good, was in this movie.

The main character is portrayed as a camellia flower. Sweet and kind. She loves singing and has such a beautiful voice. Everybody loves her, but not her aunt. Her aunt was a singer and she did not like it one bit that her niece was better at singing than her. So, her aunt started to find means to bring her niece down, as far as asking help from the paranormal world.

"Hyung, what have you found?" Jimin asks so suddenly from behind Namjoon.

Namjoon jumps slightly on his seat out of shock. He spins around to see Jimin peek at the computer from his back.

"Chim, one of these days you'll put me in to the ER," says Namjoon as he pats his chest in attempt to calm his heart down.

"Hehehe, sorry hyung, but seriously what have you found?" Jimin asks again.

"Nothing chim. Nothing. All I have found is this guy is surprisingly good at making horror movie," says Namjoon as he lets out a long sigh of disappointment.

"Horror movie?"

Namjoon pinches his forehead slightly to reduce the headache that he can feel coming.

"Yeah chim, a psychological horror movie to be exact."

Jimin chews his bottom lips and thinks hard. "Do you think he kidnapped Taehyung for some kind of sick inspiration for his next work?" Jimin asks, worried.

Namjoon eyes bulged out. "Don't say that Jimin. I don't think so, no. I don't want that to be true." Namjon shuts his eyes tightly and folded his hands together. He looks like he is wishing or maybe praying for that not to be true.
